Thiago Alves will KO GSP. WATCH and LEARN. Alves will be the next Welter Weight Champ and he will hold the belt for a very long time. This kid is young and keeps dramatically improving. That is if he can keep off the juice of course.. LOL He has gotten twice as big since his suspension. Bottom line, even if he isn’t/wasn’t juicing; he has always been a great fighter and is always improving.

Thiago Alves will KO JK and take out GSP shortly.

hm.. i was a fan of hughes, but after seeing him get taken apart by GSP an now Alves, i think its time he hungs up the gloves.

He can be quite be quite agile, an timmed.
An i think thats what cost him the match overall.
He shot in to soon, didn’t work the jab efficent enough.
This spost has grown to much to just stick to the basic ground an pound routine.
He needs a more protective stand up, an a more willing jab.
He fakes to much an its what cost him overall..

did you also know that Alves Sprained his ankle and couldnt walk on it at all 10 days prior to the fight? so dumb ass I dont know.. the guy is in good shape and has never missed weight before..

Matt hughes could of said no aswell it was his choice BUTTERBEAN dont be so god damn ignorant.. he just didnt NOT make weight because he was lazy… and it IS legit or it wouldnt have been sanctioned MORON.. seriously consider thinking about what your writing or you will hear about it from other ppl…

Let’s review. Alves did not make weight. I will say it again. The dumb ass did not make weight. There is a reason you have to make weight. Had he been the right weight he would have been dehydrated and weak. How very nice it must be to not make weight and have the fight considered to be legit.

It was a farce.

P.S. Hughes is done.

That was a great fight! Kudos to Thiago! If Hughes does not learn how to strike his career is over. I think he still has it potenial.

Man Hughes doesn’t even train anymore! He’s only fighting because Dana asks him to fill in! In fact Hughes never did the long term training the current fighters do, if he did he’d be a fricken contender again! Look at his eye when he walked into the 2ns Pierre fight, he was already beaten before he stepped in the ring! He always said his worse fear was to walk in the ring unprepared and that is what he has been doing in only because he is not going to say no when he is asked to fill in a broken card.

thanks MMATKO it was pleasure to see this ihope matt will stand up with serra and i think he was fighting for breath as alves gave him a knee just on the start of 2nd round -that was the reason he invited alves to guard..the rest was just awsome finish by alves..
