This fight was a D-list fighter’s paradise. I can’t figure out what these two fighters resemble most: greased pigs or chickens with their heads cut off.

Rashad “Sugar” Evans will destroy either of these guys. Hamill and Holman are just token fighters for the white demographic.

Hamill is adorable! He won the Bisbing fight… He got robbed by the judges. I like franklin, but franklin has been looking like he’s on chemo- therapy – hammil will p’own franklin.

I don’t even want to root for Matt Hamil, not because I don’t like the guy. It’s just a waste of effort cheering and using my energy when he can’t even hear me! You can’t even talk shit to the guy. I think Matt will suprise a lot of people. Im not saying he’s going to go in there and destroy rich like black gerbil but I think at the very least he will be competitive and even stands a chance to win it. We all know matt has better wrestling then rich, granted rich has a good ground game and submission defense, but I dont think matt will go for a kimura or armbar if he gets rich down. I think he would more then likely try for either side control or the mount, and could get good solid shots in from there. Rich obviously has better, more accurate striking but I would bet money matt hits harder when he does get shots in.

Hammill has shown a suspect gas tank and I think Franklin will come in much better shape for this fight. Hammill gets tired in the second round after working very hard for takedowns, gets sloppy with his defense, and gets clipped. The Hammer gets handed his first legitimate loss.

I think Black Gerbil just posted his first response that makes since even though I know he’s being sarcastic. I’m going with Hamill in this one, I think a lot of people underestimate him. He got cheated out of the decision with Bisping after he owned him for most of the fight on Bisping’s turf. His hands looked good in that fight against another skilled stand up fighter. If he doesn’t manage to pull out the victory it should still be a one hell of a fight.

LOL @ mma soldier’s first comment! People talked about how Hammil was at disadvantage since he can’t hear his corner yelling out instructions during his fights but I think he has an unfair advantage because the deaf guys I knew were much stronger than the average hearing guy, kind of like mother nature compensated for their disability. When Rogan interviews a fighter who can’t speak english that well he has an interpreter, they should have one for Hamil because to people who didn’t watch the Ultimate Fighter show and who don’t know he’s deaf, they might think he is retarded from the way his voice sounds.
