Kampmann always makes some kind of critical error in fights. He was beating Sheilds then decided to go for a sub in the final round and got reversed – shoulda kept it standing. I like Kampmann – helluva chin too.

I liked his honest answer.Some fighters will say fighter A will beat fighter B because I lost to fighter A.That’s the douchiest answer possible and Kampmann was honest I liked it.

This guy is so good. He isnt as highly touted as he should be because of bullshit losses. Aside from the Paul Daley loss he should be undefeated at welterweight. A win over current interim champ, lets face it he beat Shields, he beat Sanchez, he choked Volkmann, he beat Thiago, dismantled Rick Story’s game. I think he’s the most underrated guy out there. If he wins this maybe he can get a fight with Kos and that would put him up there on the list of contenders

Agreed Pit, remember the Sanchez vs. Kampmann fight? I thought Kampmann got robbed blind in that match. Kind of reminded me of Diaz vs. Condit, except Sanchez took soooo much damage being the aggressor in that fight. These judges man I tell ya’.
