I always loved the man. Since I was a K1 fan more than MMA back in the days. Mark was one of my favorite for his toughness, chin and power.
He walks away I believe because he is used to K1 fighting rules.
With K1 fighting rules, you get a count of (8) on all knockdowns. Fighters must walk away to allow the judge to give the 8 count. If they don’t, the referee will order them to do so.
After 3 count of 8, the fight is stop and called a TKO.
