I second what nobru said..the first time they fought it was a fluke arm break. If Rua will even be in his NORMAL fighting form (which of course he wasn’t against Griffin), he will own Coleman.

I see Shogun much like The Ice Man…a man who was born with an amazing amount of talent, who rose to the top of the game and simply fell apart from there. Regardless who wins, Rua will never be a top 5 LHW again, he has simply done too much damage to his body. It’s sad to see. But I would like to clearly state this much, his first lost to Coleman was a total fluke. He broke his own arm. Coleman won that fight by default, if Rua has been glucosamin condroitin, vitD, calcium, drinking plenty of milk and doesn’t come out there and shatter like fine china, he should own.

Obviously he’s the stronger guy, but the way Shogun broke his arm wasn’t really because of specific technique. Coleman took him down, but he didn’t get him in arm lock, so I’m not seeing how that’s likely to happen in the next fight. I just would like to see Shogun be the fighter that everyone was talking about as one the best in the world instead of a guy who was out of shape and ineffective against Griffin. If Coleman really thinks Shogun’s conditioning is second to none after that fight, he probably still buys combs.

I really used to dislike Coleman as he comes across as a real arrogant ass – until I watched The Smashing Machine – a kick ass film/documentary with Coleman and Mark Kerr – Where Coleman came across as a really nice chap, so I hope even if he doesn’t win he still has a good fight.

Colememan said it best u make ur own luck ur stupid enough to stop a slam by putting ur arm down then its ur fault u lost, Colemen broke his fuckin arm either way u wana say it, and enough with the excuses about shogun, he fucked up he didnt train he lost badly to forest, he is the far better fighter and either way shogun cant hang with the UFC elite at all
