Seems Zaromskis must have pissed off the REF in the back somehow.. There was no reason for him to eat so many punches… (unless he told the ref he was hungry).. Great fight for Koreshkov

i think the ref did fine.

it doesn’t look to me like most of those punches were landing cleanly (shoulder, chest, hand). the first one (after he went down) looked clean, then there were like 6 in a row that i thought missed or were blocked, then he landed another clean shot right before the ref stopped it.

if jimmy smith had not gone crazy, i doubt anyone would have thought anything of it.

and he was defending himself. he was hurt, but he wasn’t getting hit in the head until right at the end.

jimmy smith kept yelling “he’s out!”

no he wasn’t. he was never out at any point – not even when he got nailed the last time that caused the ref to stop it.

8 unanswered power punches to the face was too many. The ref should have stopped the fight after just a few for a tko. Worst is that after the 8 punches, Zaromskies was out cold and still received 3 more before the ref jumped in.

Referee Poe and King Mo have got to GO!!!!!!

I like Smith’s emotion. He’s coming from an experienced position and would like to see fighters protected better. Good for him. And good for Koreshkov. DAMN he’s fast and accurate.

In real time it was a fine line between late and criminal-fire the ref ASAP!!
