The judge that scored Lytle as the winner is retarded

Lytle needs to think a little bit more, he got worked in the stand up for three rounds and enjoyed it the whole time instead of taking it to the ground

this is a clear case of speed and technique (davis) and determination and power (lytle). the reason Chris didn’t take him down. was they had an agreement. They would stand and bang. The fact that chris was losing the stand up game but still held true to his word and keep it on the feet makes me respect him even more.

It’s this kind of BS that ruins the sport. The rules are set, use all you can to fuck up the other fighter. If you want to go K-1 rules, go fight in K-1, not in the UFC!

I’ve gotta say, I really like Lytle. He’s a hell of a fighter and always exciting to watch. He has so much power in his hands. He throws bombs and has a chin of granite. His tolerance for pain is incredible. Davis fought really well and technically sound in this fight. Good fight. Kudos to both fighters.

What’s the point of fighting in a MMA sport if you are not going to use all of your skills during the fight?

I hate it when fighters, who are good on the ground, choose to keep the fight standing, even though they are losing the fight. Don’t these fighters have any sense and self-respect as warriors?

A true warrior enters the arena with all his skills at the ready he does not limit himself for an ignorant ideal, believing that we MMA fans, “only find stand up battles exciting and that the ground game is boring.” This ideal is false; what irritates us MMA fans the most, is when a fighter loses the fight because of his own stupidity, Chris, George (Rich Franklin’s boy) and all the other fighters who believe in this ignorant ideal.

We MMA fans love MMA because it uses all aspects of fighting, so how about you idiots become more like GSP, BJ Penn, Kenny Florian and all the other well rounded fighters who use all of their skills during their fights. Then probably you idiots will finally become exciting fighters.

This is whack and this is why UFC is becoming like HBO boxing. Just because the dude is Irish and UFC is expanding it’s viewing audience is why Davis won… He did not out-box anyone Lytle landed MUCH more harder hits… just look at Davis giant skull fracture. Davis won by ONE kick per round and that’s it. This fight was lop sided and LYTLE please get a new manager dude… someone gave up on you and they shouldn’t have… you have what it takes to excel but you need a real trainer. Stop thinking you’ll never go anywhere… you are losing for no reason.

These fighters are exciting to watch but I dont find either of them to be championship material. Good brawlers but not technical or well rounded enough to reign at the top.
