Erin Go Bragh! Log in to Reply flashbackofanderson April 6, 2013 Conor looked impressive and confident…reminded me of Anderson Silva’s debut against Chris Leban…pinpoint accuracy, confidence, plus he’s a thinking fighter…think he would do well against the elite in the sport, would like to see him fight Pettis or Ben Henderson.. Log in to Reply T'Challa April 6, 2013 ^^Agreed.. punching accuracy, especially while moving backwards, footwork, angles… Irish Anderson Silva!! We have to see how he does against strong wrestlers, but dude could be a superstar.. everybody loves the Irish Log in to Reply FartFacenoob April 6, 2013 **** the Irish i would smash that **** Log in to Reply Major Syndrome April 6, 2013 Are you only allowed your sponsor gear in the octagon post fight? Why didn’t Brimage have his eyeborg on. Maybe it would have helped him miss those uppercuts: “upper cut incoming at 34.3345 degrees starboard” WHUMP. CLONG. “damage sustained – activating emergency floatation devices – de-activated – catastrophic failure” I thought I’d seen heaps of people wrap themselves in their country’s colours often after victory? It looked like da officials were trying to take the Eire flag off him. I thought the UFC had a hard on for Ireland? Malarky. Mean debut Mr. McGregor. Log in to Reply bigbob April 6, 2013 connar had some solid punching time for him to step up the competition Log in to Reply ZW April 6, 2013 Conor is here… Log in to Reply Lazer212 April 7, 2013 Been hearing about McGregor, glad I finally got to see him fight. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick April 7, 2013 How many times Brimage got punched??Over 9000!!!! Log in to Reply icolater April 7, 2013 pure class, the next level has arrived. Log in to Reply Perulives April 7, 2013 Guess the scouter didn’t report McGregors true power level. But seriously, what accurate striking… kid is a beast Log in to Reply charnc1122 April 7, 2013 The only thing better than this guys interviews is his fighting. That was about the crispest, most technical punching I’ve seen. Would be interesting to see what he can do on the ground against a real bjj guy. But this guy looks like the real deal. Will be interesting to watch his star rise. Log in to Reply ibunn April 7, 2013 impressive striking. He throws punches with accuracy from weird angles and going backwards similar to chuck liddells style Log in to Reply Lance Armstrong Only Nut April 7, 2013 @Major Syndrome, funny stuff dude. Here’s my assessment of Conor McGregor. He hits other guys in the head without missing and he does it real real real hard. Log in to Reply Licks72 April 8, 2013 Wow. Love his accuracy and relaxed movement. Log in to Reply Jasoncorb April 8, 2013 that was awesome! now Marcus stop talking shit before your fights and stop wearing that kids thing on you face you looked like an amateur!! WAR CONOR!! Log in to Reply vsmoove April 8, 2013 Wow… great striking and ring movement… someone will have to take him down in order to win. Log in to Reply Ground St. Pound April 9, 2013 Well he’s talking about wanting to go compete at the European Jujitsu Championships in Rome. And I’ve seen video of him seemingly holding his own against Gunnar Nelson, so I would love to see someone take him down. That said, his footwork, angles, timing, accuracy are absolutely incredible. He looks like Anderson out there. I had Marcus in this fight until I saw Conor’s warmup shadowboxing, then I knew Marcus was in trouble. Plus his mentality towards fighting is naturally and effortlessly philosophical. And his obsession with getting better is a huge promise to mma fans. I believe we’ll see great things from him in record time. Go Conor! Log in to Reply Facefrack April 10, 2013 What an awesome way to enter the Octagon! I’m sure its been said in this thread, but this looked an awful lot like Anderson Silva vs. Chris Leben. Perhaps if he has similar success in upcoming fights, we can rename him. I would lol… I mean I would rofl like mofo if Bruce Buffer introduced him as Conor “the Irish Anderson” McGregor. Hope that happens. Log in to Reply McAwesome April 17, 2013 @facefark – Conor loves his nickname and f**K that give it time and we’ll be renaming Silva “the Brazilian McGregor” Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
