Complete robbery!! Boxing has reached a new low. One of the only reasons left to watch boxing and it’s been ruined. Bradley left in a wheelchair but came out as the winner?! What a travesty.

That was a good fight though beside the the f*** up at the end. I think at this stage we could have an annual top 10 bad desion countdown and name and shame the crappy judges responsable and the commisions there are affiliated with. Nick Diaz loss to condit was nearly as bad as this in my opinion the fighter looking to press the action and “fight” should be rewarded.

Op_of_faith Says, in 6-10-2012 at 11:18:00 from

Not sure if this is a delaying tactic to force a rematch and give Mayweather time to be prepare (and I don’t believe Mayweather has anything to do with it) or if the judges were placing their own betters to short the bookies…either way…that one doesn’t make sense.

jakelo Says, in 6-10-2012 at 11:22:38 from

Op_of_faith Says, in 6-10-2012 at 11:36:34 from

@Jakelo-LOL-They are the same judges-that’s the problem. The Athletic Commissions of each state controls MMA judging and boxing judging even though they know NOTHING about MMA…and the UFC has no say so. It’s a legal thing for sanctioned fights…

Sick Bastard Says, in 6-10-2012 at 12:07:02 from

Although I can’t stand Mayweather’s mouth. He was right in saying Bob Arum is ruining boxing. He never wanted the May vs Pac fight because he wants the money in house since he is the promoter for Pac and Bradley. A rematch already planned prior to the fight? Dana White is also correct in stating that the Nevada State Boxing Commission is the worst. I’m sure those two judges got paid well by Arum. I’ll never never give my money to Boxing again. Now Dana should say F*** Las Vegas and not have fights there until the entire Boxing organization makes a change.

Sick Bastard Says, in 6-10-2012 at 12:10:07 from

Tim Bradley is NOT to be blamed for any of this either. He is a good fighter and over all good family dude that fought his heart out, but definitely didn’t win this fight.

Moostachio Says, in 6-10-2012 at 12:23:34 from

Bob “The Scumbag (minus the S)” Arum at his finest. That guy doesn’t give a F*** about anyone other than himself. Rig the fight because it’s Manny’s last fight on his contract, thus diminishing his value because he doesn’t want to fight for you. Also if the loss occurred, which it did, basically force a rematch AKA another fight for The Cumbag. Ridiculous.

Reallynow? Says, in 6-10-2012 at 12:40:07 from

This was to create a rematch, then to possibly set up for gayweather. Waste of f****** time. This is what boxing does. Drain the dirty rag to create a rematch…give people the f***** fight that they want to see. Bob Arum needs to f***** die already.

@ coutura – Look man, Marquez vs Pac was much closer than this crap. Marquez is a f****** legend, champion fighter and so is Pac. All their fights was close, showing how talented both are and how their styles match so well. I can understand how it coud;ve gone either way.
However, this fight was pretty obvious Pac had the win. This is was straight on some business planning for Top Rank.
I’ll pay to watch a UFC fight, but F*** giving more money to Arum and the Nevada State Commission

Looks to me like they need to stop worrying so much about drug testing the fighters and start doing extensive drug testing and MASSIVE background checks on their judges. Problem is the people in charge of stopping this robbery from fans just got paid HUGE on this fixed fight.

Hell with this caliber of judges Bob Sapp could beat Mayweather any day of the week.

Well, it is what is Imo, I believe Manny won the fight but not as lopsided as everyone thinks now that I’ve seen it twice, I didn’t order fight but I got HBO so I’ll watch it for the last time on HBO HD. I mean u guys gotta consider that Manny had some controversial decisions in his own right, not saying that he deserved to lose but what about Marquez? And honestly think Pac man is on his way out as far his skills are starting to diminish his punching power isn’t the same, and Imo he didn’t win like how he usually does I mean TB face wasn’t even bruised. Usually the fights I see when Pac man wins his opponents face is rearranged. WHo wants to see the rematch? The only people who will watch it will be Manny’s people, that fight was not worth $65.00, I had a better time watching May & Ortiz… Manny is on the decline point blank, u guys may love to h8 Money May but he was right all along.

@steelersnut, they’re both on the death bed of their careers, don’t kid yourself. Bradley has a tough chin and showed lots more defense than Pac’s last 6 opponents combined. Mayweather would certainly give him hell with his tuck and roll. Pac didn’t lose power at all. He connected quite a bit with Bradley and had him backpedaling, doubting himself. Mayweather claims he wants to provide a real fight for his fans. Please… His legs are getting old too. The only reason he refuses to fight outside of Vegas is the Novocaine injections into his wrists before his fights. Perfectly legal there. He won’t challenge someone who will walk through his punches and further damage his hands. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=403032

mashuevos Says, in 6-10-2012 at 22:45:07 from

I think Manny won the fight just because of the few power shots that he landed other than that it was a very close fight but the way that the fans boo’d Bradley was horrible its not his fault that the judges scored the fight wrong… he fought a good fight and should not be treated that way.. just my opinion :/

Ruddo293 Says, in 6-10-2012 at 23:00:57 from

Alot of people lost millions betting on this fight. While i believe Manny did win, i put all my money betting wise on bradley so it turned out good for me…lol Besides that, as far as bad judging goes, Tavoris cloud vs. Gabriel campillo earlier this year was worse judging that Manny / Bradley by far. Maybe people should check that fight out as well. Tim cannot be blamed for the decision, he does not command any money or ticket sales or ppv revenue in boxing. They will rematch, but i’m thinking bradley and his team might wait to see what Floyd Mayweather and his team has to offer as far as money before accepting a immediate rematch with Pacquaio. That’s just my opinion though; i could be wrong.

Walk in Pacman -1 point taken away for eye of the tiger entrance music.
Round 1
B: 10 (controlled 90% of the round)
P: 9 (landed several significant strikes in the last 10% of the round, but lost 90% of the round)

Round 2
B: 10 (beat the heck out of Pacman while holding him, ref called no foul)
P: 9 (landed a high percentage, but had very low output)

Round 3
B: 9 (didn’t land much of anything)
P: 10 (landed many significant strikes, even his jab was significant a few times)

Round 4
B: 9 (got the crap beat out of him)
P: 10 (beat the crap out of him)

Round 5
B: 9 (3 significant strikes)
P: 10 (7 significant strikes)

Round 6
B: 9 (1 sig strike)
P: 10 (7 sig strikes)

Round 7
B: 9 (6 sig strikes)
P: 10 (I lost count… about 18 sig strikes)

Round 8
B: 9 (4 sig strikes)
P: 10 (4 sig strikes, ring control & champion favor)

Round 9
B: 9 (8 sig strikes… and almost a negative point for a very annoying cornerman)
P: 10 (14 or so sig strikes)

Round 10
B: 10 (10 sig strikes)
P: 9 (4 sig strikes)

Round 11
B: 10 (6 sig strikes)
P: 9 (5 sig strikes)

Round 12
B: 10 (6 sig strikes)
P: 9 (1 sig strikes)

Bradley: 113
Pacman: 115

Even with the -1 for using eye of the tiger, I still have Pacman winning by a point.

jimmy Says, in 6-11-2012 at 00:22:22 from

Arum promotes both fighters. This is already posted here, but I feel it should be reminded.

How to black-mail a judge:

Have someone follow the guy around and get as much bad s*** as they can find on the guy. Threaten, obviously this dirt must be more harmful than dragging your math/scoring skills through the dirt.

If the judge is a clean person. Try to send people with no traceable relation to the promoter to ask how much (everyone can be bought).

Or, do both, and bet a s*** load on the under-dog.

bias tends to show up almost all the time.if someone wants one fighter to win they tend to only watch that fighter and pay attention to what he does more.i think it was closer then the broadcast team says but manny still won.

ETK Says, in 6-11-2012 at 06:52:50 from

Wait a minute.
I did not watching the fight before I commented.
I had read all the internet news and chatting.
Now, so far, I have watched rounds 1-10.
Pacquiao did not dominate Bradley as convincingly as many are claiming.
Bradley did much better than people are claiming.
What is going on with all the lies in the media and people chatting in all the forums?

ruddo293 Says, in 6-11-2012 at 10:42:31 from

@ETK exactly, Manny did not dominate the whole fight, if you look at rounds 10,11, and 12, i thought bradley did enough to win on points or the judges cards. It’s just Manny throws bombs, but if you look clearly, alot of punches were missed because bradley was such game thruout the whole fight. Manny never landed a 2 punch or 3 punch combo on him because he kept moving alot throughout the fight. People just go crazy when manny throws his left hand regardless if he hits his opponenet or not. Not saying manny lost, but what i am saying is the fight should be looked at more carefully because it was alot closer than most people think.

wEz Says, in 6-11-2012 at 17:09:33 from

I think the first round could have been scored 10-10, and I can see the last 3 rounds going for Bradley, but even if you give Tim a mercy round someone else in there he still lost the fight. Yes pac looked one-dimensional and a bit slower, but I’m not sure Bradley landed anything substantial. When even Manny has a clean face afterwards you know he won.
At this point in their careers I think Floyd would roll Pac, but 3 years ago I think Pacs activity level would have been enough. But we’ll never know…that’s modern-era boxing.

jballer Says, in 6-11-2012 at 18:04:56 from

people are talking out of their asses. bradley predicted the fight would be close, and said he thought it could get ugly. he also stated his desire to rematch pacquiao if it got ugly MONTHS ago.

ringside observers said the one thing bradley was really doing well was body shots.

personally, i think manny won, i had him up 117-113. the only shocking thing about it is why they wouldn’t give manny (the champ) benefit of the doubt. ive never seen a decision quite like this (the old adage ‘you gotta take the title from the champ’ apparently doesn’t apply in vegas; all that matters in vegas? money!)

Rematch? Manny clearly won the fight! Fight Mayweather for less money like he will want now and prove that you are the better fighter and not the more money maker! No one buy into this rematch crap. It is clearly a way for Bob Arum to make easy money AGAIN!

Cyclonex Says, in 6-12-2012 at 00:11:37 from

I don’t think manny won at all..Bradley started to jab at least 10 times before manny would respond and set up in almost every round…then bradley would move and set himself up too. Both of them practically doing the same thing.Even manny’s was saying “Good jab or punch” in the earlier rounds. And tapping his gloves together.

Moostachio Says, in 6-12-2012 at 00:27:57 from

It’s simple. Bradley was definitely a gamer but stats don’t lie. Bradley only out landed Pac in 2 rounds. Pac also landed 100 more punches. So to say Bradley won would be to say that even though he landed less his punches caused more damage and were more effective. Judges just gave him credit for throwing more but not landing. He definitely looked like the more active fighter but it was not productive. But I guess it looked good.

rickybobby Says, in 6-12-2012 at 00:45:48 from

I don’t understand why people felt that its crazy that there was a possibility that Timothy one the fight. The crowd and the announcers were so biased that when I first tried to watch the fight online, I couldn’t see the fight but I could hear it. From what the announcers were saying, and by the sound of the crowd, I could of sworn that Pacquiao was killing him. I thought he was doing what he did to Margarito, Cotto, Clotty, and De La Hoya. That wasn’t the case. I’m sorry but Pacquiao lost in a very close fight. Timothy Bradley won the fight by outboxing Manny in the latter rounds. And the first two rounds could arguably go to Timothy.

itim Says, in 6-12-2012 at 19:56:54 from

First things first, the commentators are obviously Pacquiao fans, listing to the commentary gives the impression the Bradley was being mauled. The fight was a lot closer than I was expecting and Bradley appeared to be busier in many of the rounds, maybe the judges gave him credit for that. They don’t have the benefit of compubox numbers or instant replay, they have to call it as they see it.

Kella Says, in 6-14-2012 at 03:16:17 from

Stop disagreeing with everyone just to look different. Manny got robbed. Bradly lost almost every single round. Watched the fight 3 times and still Manny dominated almost every round. Oh and im not bias towards Manny. Havent cared about boxing since Klitchko’s won the heavyweight titles.
