Shlemenko has improved his TDD a lot over the past few years. His striking defense is more crisp and his attacks are more varied but controlled. He has matured greatly as a fighter. Very different than the fighter that challenged Lombard for the belt a few years back. Would love to see him in the UFC.

Shlemenko is one of my favorite fighters from Russia and is very dangerous even when he looks winded and slow like this fight. His body shots to Falcao were enough to bring him down. He is a big fish in a small pond at Bellator and is only one of the remaining stars that still remain with them. I doubt they let him go anytime soon. Which sucks for the fans.

@Krio – I’ve been thinking the same thing, but possibly he’s to fight in Bellator ’til the end of his career becasue they aren’t going to let him go
