BJ was not in his prime for that fight. He was 187 lbs, overweight, fighting in an open division against a guy that is 3-4 natural weight classes above him (weighing in at 215lbs.)

Evans got owned like a pack of cigarettes or the new kid on the block in prison! I mean the dude “supposedly” got 4 shots in but that seems pretty generous to me since all I saw was an ass beating by Lyoto. Once again, Machida walks out looking like he just finished shadow boxing or something. The guys probably went home and sparred a few more rounds. He prepared for 5, predicted a KO in 3, but Evans lasted less than 2! I feel sorry for all the newbs who thought Evans was disrespected by the Vegas odds and bought in thinking that he was a great value.

Machida beat Rashad like he stole something from his dojo but hopeully Rashad can recover to still be a productive fighter in the UFC. Maybe that guy should cut down some and fight at 185 or something.
