That was when Wanderlei started losing. He had been KO 4 months earlier to a heavy weight (Mirko). I don’t think he was the same since the left head kick. Dan did lose the first match at Pride 12, that was part of Wanderlei’s 18 fights with out a loss.

punch after his out by hendo was just bad sportsmanship and overkill. he was out flat on his back ref was runnin to him. U just see his limp head smack that canvas when hendo bombs him that one extra time

This ko from Hendo plus the headkick ko from CroCop was the end of the Axe Murderer. My heart wants Wand to win against Cung Le but my brain tells me otherwise.

Hendo doesn’t talk s*** but he always continues to hit people when they are out.He is a great cahmpion but has porr sportsmanship.

That last punch by hendo was well within the rules. Everyone knows you don’t stop fighting until the ref drags you off. Now could he have used a little restraint seeing as how wanderlei had his arms up and was visibly knocked out? yes probably, but it was definitely not unsportsmanlike behavior by any stretch.
