WEC 32 fight video of Leonard Garcia versus Hiroyuki Takaya at the Santa Ana Star Center.
This quick fight is nothing but good stand up punching.

That guy was a bitch
Garcia said “Momma said knock you out!” That’s what I’m talking about! I love hits, it’s like a good old fashion street fight. I love the technique in it as well, but when you got a man like Garcia he will beat the living crap out of you for his sopapia!
after watching garcias last fight were he showed amazing heart and will and know this one i can honestly say im a new leanoard garcia fan. the kid comes to brawl everytime and gives it 110 percent. now hes got great coaches and trainers in his corner, i think hes got a real bright future ahead of him
ktfo
good he dropped to feather weight.. that was a premature stop.. i mean compared to mcCullough’s defeated..
Mexicans RULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
they dont even have weigh in’s do they? they go on the “honour” system… what a joke.. if its not sanctioned then these guys could be takin all kinds of stuff……. I could be wrong but I dont think so…
there was plenty of room for ground work, at least let it go to some gnp before stoppin it. great win, but….. reminds me of shamrock/sakuraba
that was a joke fight
I have never seen a fighter try to recover that way before
BLACKBELTKARATE… you should be called BLACKBELT-CRAP-TALKER
I’m sorry.. that was not a premature stoppage… you could tell Garcia was sizing him up for a kick… as soon as Takaya picked up both knees from the mat he was gonna get it to the head…. that is if he had survived the third uppercut.
I guess you are a true american MMA fan… you want to see a bloodbath… then it’s ok for the ref to jump in.
oops sorry both knees were up… good thing he didn’t kick him.
Wow, what a nasty kick to the gut, I think that’s what did it more than anything, or at least set it up for the good ol’ 1-2.
And yes, they do have weigh-ins, and no, definitely not a premature stoppage. There was no way he was going to recover from those golf swing punches.
he still had lots of fight left in him.. he didnt even have a problem getting up and the last punch barely knocked him back.. he could have easily taking at least 2-3 mor ehits or had a chance to grab a leg and compose himself easily a early stop.. not saying he could have escaped the danger but he diserved the chance.. he was fully aware of his situation
early stoppage? maybe, but american fighters are always gettin robbed in japan that way might as well do it back to them here.
Name an american fighter that got robbed in japan… maybr rocked, but not robbed
