At least 3 serious ones. Cuts don't happen by themselves. He took many severe shots particularly one when he was dropped which seriously opened a gaping hole in his face. Even without the cuts Diaz had no answer for the amount of punishment he was taking in the fight. For every blow he took he just got weaker and weaker, I doubt he would have won the fight regardless. As for experience, I would agree if Noon was fighting a BJJ submission specialist he would be in trouble... but he's not.
