Back on November 17th, 1996 at U-Japan, MMA fight legend Kimo Leopoldo took on now deceased Pro Wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow in what would be Bigelow’s only Mixed Martial Arts adventure.

At 6ft 3in and 360lbs Bam Bam was strong enough to take on most anybody walking on the street. He had great core strength and good wrestling skills from his years of professional wrestling with The WWF and some other smaller organizations. Too bad he didn’t work on his striking and ground defense a little more.

No gloves lol nice. Dude held the fence the whole time. Prolly wouldn’t of mattered clearly he has the advantage on the ground over bam bam. I would of like to see a slug fest or a few punches from bam bam he didn’t even throw one.

I guess holding the fence was’nt against the rules there, or the ref was inept. Kimo would have won any way. Big respect to Bam Bam, or anyone else who gets in there.

the same thing might happen to brock? are you serious? bam bam show nothing… NOTHING on the ground. granted they are both giant huge strong guys but that’s where it ends.. brock was an elite level wrestler, looks cardio-wise amazing, and has trained MMA for a little bit at least. the way bam bam was moving his hand around, trying to deflect blows made me sa for the once pround guy (and once my favorite pro wrestler!).

Kimo sucks ass. He held the cage the whole time. Whether it was legal or not, that’s not the issue. It was cheap, and he sucks, period.
