Kimbo Slice Wins Over Ray Mercer At Cage Fury Fighting Championships
As soon as the bell rang Kimbo bull rushed Mercer and pined him to the cage wall. After a few quick chopping shots from each fighter, Kimbo threw Mercer to the canvas and tried to mount but Mercer got back to his feet. Kimbo again pushed Mercer to the cage wall and started blasting knees from the Muay Thai clinch.
After about ten punches from Kimbo, he grabbed Mercer and made a double-leg take-down. Mercer quickly rolled over to a top position but Kimbo caught Mercer’s head sticking out and got the guillotine choke. Mercer couldn’t get free and was forced to tap.
The arena erupted into one of the loudest frenzies I have ever witnessed. It was unbelievable how one-sided the fans were. Kimbo jumped to the top of the cage posed as the fans went crazy over the win.
