Tanner just isn’t what he used to be. Shame. Grove is not that good of a fighter. I was hoping to see him kicked out of the UFC but I guess I will have to wait for that.

eh i think grove is underrated a little.. i mean he did get KTFO twice and it was awesome.. but at the same time he didnt have the drive he has now… hes still young too.. tanner is washed up fosho.

I kept waiting for Tanner to ground and pound Kendall like he did Dave Terrell….the only pounding Tanner has done appearently is knocking Jack Daniels down….he’s finished

Tanner is in the same boat as Matt Hughes: if he can’t get the guy down, his game is completely nullified. And even if he does get him down, these guys have much improved wrestling, strength, and jiu jitsu to get back up.

I wasn’t overly impressed with Kendall. A good performance to be sure, but when a guy possesses no threat standing up, it makes you look a lot better.

I can’t lie I’m not a big fan of either of these fighters…..but I was really wanting the beard to win. I’m sorry but growing a beard like that takes time and dedication, and because people also tell me MMA takes time and dedication, I would have to assume that having a large beard would in turn make you good at MMA and vice versa….see Arlovski for more proof. My problem here is that some fool forgot to tell these judges that having no beard is an automatic 2 point deduction, and having a Tanner size beard is a bonus 2 points….and I didn’t see grove pulling off 10 - 8 rounds which he would have needed in order to win had the judges known the proper scoring methods.

Tanner is finished. He´s basically a human punching bag now, and he may even be punch drunk. A one trick pony with GNP, he can no longer take advantage of any takedowns he can accomplish to inflict any significant damage. Evan- you were a good fighter in your prime, but please don´t follow Ken Shamrock´s path. Retire.
