I love the triangle choke as an advanced closed guard, but Kobald seems less dangerous to Carano when you include the fact that she went on two lose two straight after this fight, including one to Julie Kedzie, who was beaten by Gina last February. Putting a fighter on a two fight losing streak up against Carano seems more like giving her the Kimbo treatment.
Hopefully its just because the available talent pool is shrinking due to other organizations signing up female fighters. If Carano wins this fight and then faces anyone but Cyborg, that’ll be your answer.

Dude look at the women she has fought. Most of her opponents don’t even have a single win in their careers. Many of them it was their first fight. Her record against people above .500 is 2-2. She is all padding.

Bitch had NO IDEA how to do a triangle choke, and her opponent had NO idea that all she had to do was stand up (out of punching reach) and push the knee up over her head with her right hand, leaving aggressive lil fatty on her back with nothing. Two *fighters* with very little technical fighting knowledge. Unimpressed.
