wow i cant believe i just watched that. it was like watching 2 guys fight on day 1 of sparring practice. THat was absolutly terrible. i know jardine has improved but seriously can’t believe he’s even a contender let alone has a shot against jackson, but he’s pulled ridiculous upsets before I’m definatly not counting him out of this one

Although Jardine won that fight, if he fights like that against rampage he’s gonna get knocked the eff out. He’s gotten better in the last 4 years, though.

Rampage is a much better and technical fighter than the Dean of Mean. But, anyone who dismisses Jardine has to be out of their minds. It wasn’t too long ago that Jardine almost knocked out the current champion, Rashad Evans, and kicked Lidell’s ass. He also beat Grffin. The guy is weird, but freaking dangerous.
Now, we have to see which Rampage is coming to the fight. The one who was static and sleepy against Forrest or the one who beat the crap out of Silva.

By now we know that Jardine is an excellent striker and just has a very unorthodox and awkward style. His head movement is excellent, but he throws lots of strange feints that most other fighters can’t understand or deal with. I think he matches up pretty well against Jackson, to be honest, who is a much more orthodox striker.

Jardine has drastically improved since this bout. I think he is still one the most underrated 205ers in mma. Jardine always has an excelletn gameplan coming into fights and it will be no different for his fight against Rampage. Jardine will be ready. Rampage, who has shown great inconsistancy over his career, is more a question mark. Jardine by KO IMO.

No contest. Jackson will win(UFC96)by 1st rd. knockout. I think Jackson can control the Octagon much better than Jardine can defend in it and Quentin will catch up to Keith way before he can begin any offence of his own.
