Keith Jardine came into this fight a bit pissed because he thought he deserved a title shot and fighting Houston Alexander was a waste of his talent.

Alexander threw a monkey wrench into Jardine’s title plans by knocking Keith out in the first round. Alexander took Jardine out with a knee, uppercut and repeated rights to the head. It took a good two minutes before the loser realized what had really happened in the fight.

This fight had me jumping out of my seat! Jardine looked as though he would make quick work of Alexander but he just seemed to make him angry. Houston was relentless–I’m looking forward to his next fight.

Alexander made Jardine look like a fool. Jardine is overrated and I’ve never been impressed by a single one of his fights. He looks confused every time he steps in the ring.

AH has got to be one of the most overrated fighters out there today. Landed lucky shot to the temple and got away with a illegal knee. That “standing over your downed opponent and talking shit” routine has no place in MMA,I’m just glad he got his ass kicked later by JI and Thiago Silva. It just goes to show that anybody with “Assassin” as a nickname ain’t worth a shit when facing quality opponents, see Melvin Guillard and David Terrell.
