Sakuraba has the best leg kicks in the history of mma outside of crocop. with the skills he has though he defiantly underachieved in his career. got cocky at the end, got his ass whooped.

I don’t know what to make of Sakuraba he looks great then he looks like shit. But he is a true warrior, he has been in some great battles.

I hope Elvis relished the **** out of that win because if it happened a hundred more times, Sakuraba would have won it each and every time.

In fact I’m not sure what hurt Elvis more; recuperating from those leg kicks or removing the thirty-pound horseshoe from his own ass.

Sakuraba is legend. And this is coming from a BJJ guy since 1993.

He may have got cocky but he learned and beat Schembri pretty easily in the rematch..I remember watching this fight live like it was yesterday…was easily considered upset of the year at the time…

Yeah, Saku was putting on a show for his hometown audience. I was surprised that he screwed up and got his butt kicked. Saku got his revenge and destroyed Elvis in Part II.
