This is the MMA fight video of Kazuo Misaki versus Yoshihiro Akiyama on New Year’s Eve at Yarennoka.

One of the best fights of the night. A good back and forth bout with an explosive ending.

I have to say… Misaki initiated that kick while Akiyama was getting up still but by the time Akiyama got kicked his hand was off the ground it looked like. I dont know I think they need to rematch.

he landed the kick right after akiyama’s left knee came off the ground so it was a legal shot but so close to not being one ;/

what the hell was that, 1. akiyama was on the ground and got a chin to the face. 2. the ref refused to stop the fight when misaki was knocked down and was being pummeled, akiyama spent less than 5 secs on the floor and he jumps in there to stop it. that was ridiculous.

I gotta agree with BigMike on this one.. it was the first think I noticed when buddy got knocked down at the end of the fight.. I was like alright let’s see how long he can take it.. and he was defending himself everybit as well as the other guy… can we say on the take?

regardless of whether that kick was legal or not, soccer kicks are the dumbest cheapest way to win a fight. nobody’s gonna get up from that.

but kazuo hopping around like a rabbit & then gets knocked on his ass….. lmfao!

Agree it was obviously one sided. He gave the other guy waaaay longer recovery time. Right when he hit the ground the ref was in there to stop it. BS.

1,He was halfway up when the kick connected therefore legal.
2,He wasn’t getting “pummelled” as you say after the knockdown,He instantly grabbed yoshi’s leg and defended himself so yoshi could only land a couple of ineffective hammerfists.Obviously he wasn’t hurt as he got straight up and continued without being fazed.
3,Yoshi was knocked into next week by the kick and the ref (like everyone else about from you) knew it so stopped him from taking more of a beating.Its obvious once you relise 2 mins after the fight finished he was still on the deck.

So I suggest next time you get a clue before ranting.

The cheapest? I don’t know about that. I think forced decisions are the cheapest…you know you can’t beat the guy with a submission or a knockout, so you lay on top of him for several rounds…ie.. Sean Sherk. What a snoozefest his last couple of fights were.

That was a rigged fight, misaki was to win the fight from the get go. Study the fight and you’ll see.
