I would never say K-1 is greater than MMA, but my god its hard to argue it’s more exciting. They definitely should be side by side in the mainstream it’s sad to see kickboxing left in the dust.

it would be a dream come true if a company like ufc bought the K-1 but honestly i think if they did so the k-1 would be more popular than the current mma. its surprising how many people don’t even know about k-1 fights

the fighting spirit is understood universally. tenacity, reslience…..FEROCITY….behind everyone who fights is an immeasurable amount of thoughts, prayers, desires, sacrifices and most importantly people. what decides the truly great is the ability to ride the tide and somehow always find your self at the crest….the culmination of all these things.

I don’t get it why K-1 isnt popular.There’s so many ingorants watching MMA that absolutly hate the ground game.But they still don’t watch K-1.If all those guys would watch K-1 it would make.A.Less obnoxious MMA fans and B.More fans of kickboxing therefore more people training in kickboxing and it would end up making more great kickboxers.

The lighter guys in K-1 also make the best fights from any figthing sports in the world.Any K-1 event has 100% great fights.3 round fights make this sport the best in the world.That’s why it’s so better then boxing.They don’t have to prepare for 30 minutes of fgihting so they prepare to fight,not move around a ring clinching guys and occasionally throwing a pucnh.

Is the narrator the same guy who does the 24/7 boxing videos? K1 needs to be advertised a lot more. These fights are mostly wars. Props to K1!

I got so excited that I kicked the freaking wall! There goes a few $$$ to fix the hole…
They need to find a way to fund K-1 and make sure to find a general manager who won’t be just giving the profits away to the mafia. You can’t keep an org if you can’t pay the fighters.
Each and every one of these fighters are my heroes. What you have to go through just to get in one of the finals is insane. Then, you have to fight the very best of the best, one after the other, and survive.

I wish they would do a mega tournament for MMA once every 3 years. Just the best of the best, Pride rules plus elbows on the ground, World Combat League arena (no walls), in a freaking 100K plus stadium. Only one fighter walks out with a $10 million (to make sure the best will fight). Half of the fighters would be by invitation and the other half would come out from regional tournaments.
