![]() | CageQuest MMA fight from March 3rd in Lakewood WA. Lets just say my knees hurt just watching this fight video. |
Thank Jenny H for the vids.
ouch man, didn’t really want to watch that but I couldn’t help myself.
holy s***!!!!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!
I FELT THAT MAN
Question…. dont they teach on slams and throws to tuck your s*** in and work for dominant position after the slam?
why did this make me hard?
what? just pop it back in and keep fighting.
@ 1:14……Oh Fu*&
why did i just watch this even after bruno warns me……. noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
@datruegisme
That’s what they teached me the 1st BJJ class I was in.Maybe he was too excited of figghting that he forgot his technics or he just never learned them.
That knee is shattered. The lower leg doesnt even look like it’s connected to the knee anymore.Ouch!
The guy in the second video really said the medics are on their way??I was in an extrmely small amateur boxing tournament in a 3000 people little village and they had medics there waiting. How can they have an MMA fight with no medics??
i wonder how long until someone dies in the cage. Not later just right in the cage. Not looking forward to it just saying it will happen. With more people doing mma the odds of it happening are just going to go up.
@brodieman
its already happened in every sport known to man so yes it is inevitable. it will be sad and tragic but no more. it will never become a real issue even if it became as common as in boxing.
Obviously this guy is REALLY messed up. Out of curiousity does anyone know what kind of damage this does to the knee (i.e.: bones, ligaments etc.). I’ve never seen anything like this.
it happened in Houston once already, I think though he had a pre-existing condition.
Well… something new to think about next time I step in the cage/ring.
where’s the instant replay and joe rogan analysis when you need it..
wow…even bruno’s warning can’t prepare you for that.
it’s a brutal sport. it’s definitely not for everyone.
Damn that was fu$king nasty.
I’m not going to watch it, just clicked on here to see the comments haha
brodieman^^
People die in other sports to. Thats like saying NASCAR shouldn’t be a sport because they can crash, hockey players, baseball soccer… sports always have there risks and dangers. thats why they are called professionals and get paid alot of money!!
@KungFuLowKick: Well, aren’t you fancy? (Just joking). When I fought, they would have maybe a nurse or a paramedic if it was a “high-quality” event. Most of them were “bring your own friends to carry you to the hospital” type of event. But, that was really another century now… Damn! I’m old.
@tattooed1: Although it happened in a very different manner and it was during training and not a fight, my leg looked pretty much like this dude’s. I can tell you that it ended my fighting “career.” Hell, it took me almost 3 years just to walk without a visible limp. It all depends on what is ruptured and disconnected. Mine was a bloody mess and a stupid doctor almost wanted to amputate my leg to save him some time. Of course, that was in Brazil in the early 90s. Sports medicine only start kicking in there after 1994, so I got the short straw.
I’m pretty sure they can reconstruct the knee if necessary, but he could be lucky. Sometimes it looks uglier than it actually is inside. the problem is always the cost, being an amateur fight and all…
The only thing Holy $hit factor bout this video was when the girl put the camera on her facE! Jesus I jumped andscreamed like those exorcist scare videos on Youtube. Man she’s ugly!
That’s why breakfalls are important. Ouch… That’s the worst leg break I’ve seen. Bet he wishes he just took the slam to the back now.
I wish the internet loved Ken Shamrock as much as it does Chuck Norris…
Looks more like a dislocation. Still nasty, seen it a few times on a baseball diamond.
Did anyone else think his new knee looked like a nose?? bitta morphine and hel be grand
Coach regretting his last words to fighter before he entered…
“Go get’em , break a leg kid”
not that bad, see way worse on a weekly basis in the ER. hard to tell from the video, could be anything from a dislocated knee(harmless unless it streches the back of the acl) to a complete tear… he won’t be sprinting anytime soon regardless.
Fixed.
He obviously threw that fight.
that wasn’t s*** my leg broke like a match stick from that leg kick, i could hear Rogan yelling, and i didn’t know why he wanted the fight stopped, doesn’t anybody remember that? mine was way more disgusting… threw up in my mouth at the hospital when i saw the replay….TO ALL MY FANS-I’LL BE BACK AS SOON AS I’M NOT A SKINNY p**** ANYMORE!!!! LOL LOL LOL
He would have been better off taking that slam.. Geezzz
Cut that stump off and BBQ it and eat it … nothing proves you’re tougher
I can’t do it.
