Fair stoppage I guess, but I would prefer to see a halfway between say Mazzagati and this kind of stoppage. I actually think the fighters need to be somewhat hurt before the fight is called. Yugi from PRIDE was the best ref IMO at judging stoppages. Let em actually actually take some punishment, and give them as much chance as they can to recover.
