But if anyone ever teaches GSP the Boston Crab, I’m changing over to watching muay thai forever. Log in to Reply wookiepie September 20, 2011 mean whooooooooooo gene! Log in to Reply Shinka MMA September 20, 2011 lol, I was teaching an ankle lock the other day that was basically a less showboaty version of the scorpion death lock Log in to Reply Sweet sassy molassy September 20, 2011 Boston crab… What about the camel clutch… That would be awesome Log in to Reply kyokush1n September 20, 2011 maybe a silva can invite ryo chonan to teach dos santos the flying heel hook =D Log in to Reply gunzofsteel September 20, 2011 Silva doesn’t have the proper form. The leg that is bent (left leg) needs to be crossed above the (right) knee. The leg that is straight (right) needs to be posted up against Silva’s body, so when he sits up it acts as a knee bar on the straight leg. Hope that makes sense. I used to do that move a lot when I was a kid. Log in to Reply fufc September 20, 2011 would not be surprised if he pulled this off n his next fight Log in to Reply DilleyWilley September 20, 2011 Man its all about the crippler crossface Log in to Reply willienugget September 20, 2011 Makes perfect sense, though I bet it’s pretty hard to get the guy on bottom to allow a 45degree bend. Definitely not by pushing on it with the hand. Log in to Reply SEAN_VANCE September 20, 2011 I dont think well ever see that done in the UFC Log in to Reply ruthless September 20, 2011 i wont be happy until i see the texas cloverleaf in a mma match. dean malenko vs anderson silva! make it happen ufc! Really, I’m embarrassed for him. Log in to Reply Matt F September 20, 2011 What about the Crippler Crossface? 😀 Log in to Reply AussieMMA September 20, 2011 I tried to put this on my little brother last night and tapped myself out! Log in to Reply KouNTa KuLCHa September 20, 2011 Man, all Cigano/Undertaker has to do is flip over. Then the move is reversed! lol 😉 ♠ Log in to Reply ETK September 20, 2011 Looks like if you push down on the leg which is crossed on top, it could put pressure the knee of the leg on the bottom. Try to set it up so that the is right over the kneecap. Log in to Reply imacoolkid September 20, 2011 figure 4 leg lock hurts really really really bad, if some1 did happen to lock it in in a UFC match they’d get a W Log in to Reply nutslapper2 September 20, 2011 @unzofsteel Im divided between your memory as a kid doing the figure 4 vs Anderson Silva..sorry enough sarcasm (kinda banged out) its cool that you broke it down on the real way, maybe hes right guys… Log in to Reply pho3nixxx September 21, 2011 next lesson – ‘texas clover leaf’ Log in to Reply paddedummy September 23, 2011 I once made a guy verbally quit with a camel clutch in frestyle wrestling except I was laying on my side across the back instead of sitting on the camel’s back Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
