Wow, that knockout was quite impressive. Yoshida was knocked out standing up, and Kos threw another punch at him to knock him out cold to the ground, and even a left punch landed. That is precision.

Yamasaki was really bad in this fight. Yoshida was clearly out on his feet, and Yamasaki had enough time to prevent further damage.

For as good as Yoshida’s grappling is, his striking is very sloppy. He left himself wide open for a knockout. That’s evident in his previous fights as well.

Iconoclast and Galic have it right. This fight was stopped waaay too early. The ref should only step in when there is either brain juice dripping from an ear or an obvious compound fracture. And it has to be obvious. Corey Hill should of been given a minute to compose himself and walk it off.

Before the fight I WOULD have hoped that Koscheck would not abandon his wrestling like it’s looked in his recent fights. I understand getting better in other areas but… ahh well it was a beautiful knockout that he was setting up and going for the entire round. Hard to criticize the results.
