If I had to predict what would happen had it gone on a few more seconds, I think it’s likely that Lawler would have knocked him out, but I’ve seen unlikely happen before, too. How many refs would have stopped the last Mir-Noguiera fight before Nog went for the guillotine? It even looked like Mir wouldn’t recover. I’m sure glad the ref didn’t though; we all know what happened after that… Log in to Reply AOPrinciple February 23, 2013 And thanks for the quick upload! Log in to Reply sins4given February 23, 2013 welcome back Robbie. How on earth did he lose to Jake Shields? Log in to Reply DavidJones February 23, 2013 how awesome was that koshcheck tried the same game plan he did against daley but got KO, good for lawler, hes got some serious power. i cant stand koshchek, one of the most overrated guy in the ufc. and now hes down 2 in row, hahaha. with his nail polish and bleeched hair. Log in to Reply d12ae February 23, 2013 Good For HIm Log in to Reply MuffDiggler February 23, 2013 this stoppage is the way mma is going. Its probably a good thing given the types of knockouts that we’re starting to see. Log in to Reply greatstoppage February 23, 2013 he was just getting bombed on and not defending, i’m glad Herb Dean didn’t wait until he received further damage, great stoppage. If i was a fighter, this would be the ref i want in the cage. Dont forgot Koschek also caught a knee a few moments earlier. He tried to save face and pretend he wasn’t hurt, but that was just a tactic to help him not get cut… Log in to Reply Machete February 23, 2013 Ha ha! That’s what Koscheck gets for trying to wall and stall. Log in to Reply jaydog February 23, 2013 Herb did josh a favor. Lawler hits like a truck and josh wasnt blocking any of those shots. Log in to Reply screwballhk February 24, 2013 That mother****er would’ve been a vegetable if Herb didn’t stop that fight. Log in to Reply DavidJones February 24, 2013 joe rogan is right, i disagree too, i wish herb dean wouldnt ref the fight; then kos would take some serious brain damage and getting stiff, that would have been hilarious, that fool lost. no controversy there. Log in to Reply straightAhead February 24, 2013 I dunno man, smells like early stoppage to me… Herb is known to have a itchy stoppage finger and loves to pull it too soon. Log in to Reply lefthooklarry February 24, 2013 Herb dean one of the best refs? REALLY? He is one of the worst in calling fights in time. Apprehensive most of the time. But I will say this – that was the right stoppage – he was getting cranked – why let him take one or two more of the anvils – it was over! Log in to Reply DrDoom February 24, 2013 Koscheck might go the way of Fitch… Log in to Reply teh new new February 24, 2013 looks like Koscheck was hurt by that knee. I’d love to see another angle. right after the knee he just layed there in the fetal position and stopped trying for the takedown. Log in to Reply greengiant February 24, 2013 Just like robbie said he wasn’t going to recover. Log in to Reply Yomommamoto Norifumi February 24, 2013 Premature maybe but I agree fighters need to be protected earlier than later from taking Robbie Lawler type shots esp. in that way/the way it appeared his head was bouncing off the canvas. I also think he had had the wind taken out of his sails by the knee before going down, he looked kind of inactive and dazed before Lawler clocked him propa. Log in to Reply Yomommamoto Norifumi February 24, 2013 Congratulations and welcome back to MMA as well for Robbie Lawler. Log in to Reply Darby February 24, 2013 Wow another fight kosckeck loses and complains about it. Go figure. Log in to Reply Yoplait February 24, 2013 He was out for a split second when the left hit him. Good stoppage. Log in to Reply Yelajackit February 24, 2013 Terrible. Was this a fight? Log in to Reply Yelajackit February 24, 2013 Don’t forget to minus a point and stand them up after that illegal knee to the head. REF WAS TERRIBLE! Log in to Reply pikachumanson February 24, 2013 That was not a early stoppage! Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick February 24, 2013 @Yelajackit There was no illegal knee.If you drop for a single leg when the guy is throwing knee combination,it’s your fault if you get hit in the face.If you are already on the ground, then it would be illegal. It’s like if you turn your head during an exchange and get hit behind the head,it’s still your fault. How about learning the rules before calling the ref terrible.A terrible ref would see Kos eat 5 power punches without defending and let him eat 5-6 more like Mirgliotta and the fighter will have a longer time without being able to spar. The fight was over,it was just a matter of seeing Kos stunned and dazed or completely unconscious.BTW I didn’t see josh complain too much. And that’s the kind o guy who would fake getting hit by a knee so if he would’ve been ok he would’ve whined ALOT. Log in to Reply kos' facalties February 24, 2013 dude I wasn’t aware Rogan, don’t be speaking for me bro.. I know u love me and kos but we were out got th wind blasted out with 2 knees and then next thing I know I am watching the budlight lime replay Log in to Reply herb dean February 24, 2013 might have fooled me with illegal knees before josh but u got fukd up this time bro Log in to Reply kos' facalties February 24, 2013 c’mon rogan don’t e peaking for us. we were out last thing we remember was getting a stupid haircut n lawler laying down the law. then watching the bud light lime replay. Log in to Reply MMAgiantsilva February 24, 2013 horrendous stoppage. Kosh was on his way to win that fight hell he was winning the round even probably after that barrage (maybe not) but Kosh beats this guy 9.5/10 times In the record books it should say TKO (referee error) that was just pitiful and embarrassing. Kosh was probably going to win this one guys. Log in to Reply Vic77 February 24, 2013 Koscheck Gassed Log in to Reply howe February 24, 2013 I didn’t see it as early stoppage; kosheck’s head was bouncing like a basketball and no sign of defense. Anyway that was obvious to happen (the TKO): a heavy handed striker and a glass chinned wrestler… Log in to Reply ganga February 24, 2013 good stoppage! if you look kosh hand were down he wasn’t defending him self Log in to Reply home February 24, 2013 Koscheck might get released… don’t be surprised. Lawler isn’t highly rank in MMA in general as he once was. Log in to Reply Mag February 24, 2013 A little early, but nonetheless a great win by Robbie, beating a top10 guy from the UFC. Shows that Strikeforce’s talent was always up there with the UFC. Log in to Reply STOCKTON WHAT February 25, 2013 Early stoppage indeed. Herb needs to pack! Log in to Reply brucelee23 February 25, 2013 Good stoppage, Kos took 5 or 6 unanswered bkows to the head and did not try to improve position. Thumbs up Mr dean !!! Log in to Reply JB February 25, 2013 I actually agree that Kos wasn’t quite there after the original knee. Good stoppage, he wasn’t defending himself. His hands were at collarbone level, not in front of his face. Log in to Reply yourmomsucks February 26, 2013 would have liked to see koscheck take a few more shots Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
