3rd time Kos pokes his opponent in the eye that I can remember. He did it to anthony johnson, GPS and now to pierce. Kos is a filthy cheater.

Kos should have lost that fight based on that eye poke.He was warned once and then it happened.
That was a dirty fight…Not Worth it.Both did exactly the same thing except Kos was having his gloves open and fingers extended.

Let me just say, I like both fighters. But come on ! Pierce was clearly robbed! This judging system has to be changed A.S.A.P! And if their going to keep the system the same, then their seriously going to have to reconsider who can become a judge because this current lot are a joke!

I agree, Kos lost the fight. UFC is becoming terrible MMA, a points game instead of a FIGHT game, bring back the old style rules or change to PRIDE rules. UFC blows now, all the champions are playing for points, not for kill.

Krotcheck is getting passed by the new generation of WW. His limited boxing (or eye-poking style) will put him in jeopardy against any good striker. Pierce will only go up in the rankings and Kos will become a gatekeeper. As he “won” the fight, I say give him McDonald, the winner of Ellenberger v. Sanchez, Hendricks, or even Diaz.
I want to see him poking one of them… he will lose that finger in a second.

Could’ve gone either way, except Kos stole the takedown in the last round. I don’t know how theyr’e going to fix that open hand/finger problem with Kos, but if he’s gouged two other opponents, the rules committee needs to fix what he’s doing.

So kos gets two warnings and alex gets a warning and two points deducted!! Herb Dean needs to be equal throughout. I can understand that the groin shots really hurt but the eyes pokes also disorients you and gives blurry visions.

I’m glad kos won. pierce, damn what a boring fighter. just trying to clinch and score points. at least kos was looking for finishes (i.e. knockout, successful takedowns). w/ that said, kos needs to better his striking. can’t rely on the money punch; gotta set it up with the left. looks one dimensional in there

Pierce reminds me of Couture… boring ass fighter. All he did was push Kos up against the fence all night. I certainly won’t bother watching Pierce ever again.
