Wow what a jobsworth Haynes is. These kids were just being cheeky, having fun. Harmless Vegas stuff. He could have given them the big bosses pep talk himself and had done with it.

As for that other b*tch cop saying “your an embarrassment, your an embarrassment” over and over – she seemed like such a judgemental do gooder who couldn’t even explain her actions to these kids when asked politely. What an embarrassment to her job she was.

Poor guys handled themselves very well in the face of some very nit-picky, and over the top, power crazed, policing.

Really, that female officer makes me feel sick that there are people living their lives like that. Brainless robot.

I watched 5 mins of this thinking the TUF finale was the marine corp kid, then after realizing he was WAY too young to be on TUF 3, I looked up the name Josh Haynes and saw it looked nothing like him… I figured someone made a mistake on the video before I realized he was the Cop! haha I don’t remember season 3 at all….

Being a normal every citezen and one whos never been arrested, watching this makes me sick. Cops who belive they are above everyone else and have the power to do anything. “if thats what he feels like doing that what hell do” What does it take to be a cop? a 6 month training program at most? “If we leave him out on the strip things are going to turn out worse” Is that a fact? They didnt look like they were causing problems, s*** im sure 80% of the ppl in Vegas walking the strip are drunk as F***. They just emediately asume the worst and dont give you credit based on vastly general steriotypes. If those kids were in a suit the cops probably wouldnt even look twice at them. I can go on forever, every time I watch one of these shows it makes me sick to my stomach. If you know your rights you dont have to be a victim! Thank god its not as bad in Canada. F*** the US! I coulda swore I remember seeing a vingette on TUF 3 about how Josh Haynes ran a strip club. Now he’s a cop? How did that happen?

The irony is this wouldn’t have even happened if the tv cameras werent there. All that happened was two kids had a nice Vegas buzz going and saw the tv cameras and thought it would be fun to take a drink of that beer and pose for the camera. Now I guess you could say they were interfering with police business or whatever but they would have never got involved in the first place if it werent for the tv cameras. So maybe things would be safer if the camera crew got off the strip in order to keep drunk people from acting stupid.

@KungFuLowKick its not just cause there was a camera haha I got arrested once for weed and by the end there was probably half a dozen cop cars and cops everywhere. I think they have nothing better to do so they just congregate when something happens so they can all chat with eachother

The cop explained the situation well by explaining that if they’re acting “cool” like that with the wrong person, they can get shot.

I think its funny that everyone is calling the cops a*******. The dude flat out walked up to someone elses things, took a swig of someone elses beer and walked away thinking he did nothing wrong. Then he was a total asshat to the police officer. Regardless of who the cop was, if he’d just went about his own business none of this would have happened. What is wrong with the cops? WTF is wrong with that dude thinking he can just do whatever he wants? Am I the only person that would be pissed if someone walked up, drank my beer and walked away? wow and cops wonder why they have a bad reputation for over abusing power. Sure what the kid did was wrong, but it was harmless and he is in Vegas. The second anyone has something to say to a police officer that they don’t like they immediately throw the cuffs on. Thats where I have a problem.

They should have stopped the kid warned him about his behavior and let him on his way. If he continues to act a fool then there should be a consequence. Police spend way too much time on BS situations and are also part of instigating problems.

I typically don’t comment on here, but I felt compelled after watching this video.

very true some of our Canadian cops are really bad I actually have a video of couple of them. that is one of the reasons I will become a Cop, a good cop I hope. I want to show them that a good cop that solves problems shows respect to citizens. in Canada we really should try harder to change the mentality I have a friend who is a cop and he really is a good guy and he has explained to me many times that many cops are on power trip and can care less about moral obligation to do their duty to help and protect people. I don’t know much about the U.S side but I have seen some very violent cops on videos so i’m not sure how high the percentage is there. we just need more good cops.

If that marine (talk about wasted tax money)put his mouth on my drink while I was having to answer the cops questions, I’d be pissed off that I couldn’t do anything! It happened while I was under the care of the police and this made them responsible for it. The cop did the right thing (I have never said this in my life).

That duty on the Vegas streets is closer to working a night club security. That is what they are paid to do…not wait for fistfights to go down

It was a dumb move by the kid to interfere there, I mean, I hate to say it but I agree with all the bashing on the officers, especially the female, she could have escalated the whole situation, good on the Marines to stay pretty well quiet. The Marine could have been apologetic though for the silly act, it was silly but really, not in the middle of the cops detaining and dealing with someone. All in all it was handled pretty well. I do hope the two Marines did not get in real trouble with their command though. Keep it real and Semper Fi.

I have proudly been a police officer for 8 years now and these officers should be ashamed of themselves. They were clearly “showing off” for the camera. Please, please, PLEASE, dont let these “kids” let shape your opinion of police officers. The only police who make the vids are the ones like this. Like anything else, there are bad apples who spoil the bunch. What they don’t show on TV is all the honest, hard working officers who have a conscience just like you and day in and day out do the right thing.

Nah josh is right but the women cop isnt. If someone would drink my beer there would be a fist fight but in vegas stabbed or shot.

Really? No, I don’t need cops to help me handle something like that, I’d have taken care of it myself. I’m just gonna assume you’re an internet tough guy. The dude in the first place had enough respect to realize he was doing something wrong and he was complying with the police. Mr. Sunglasses at night thinks he can do whatever he wants and he’ll pay for it. He was in handcuffs and is gonna get s*** from his CO because he was acting like an asshat, and running his mouth didn’t help. You’d figure an active duty Marine would understand what respect is, but I guess not.

he was not being a douche , a******or whatever else just a cop doing his job. Remember what they show on film is 1 arrest event of hours of filming left on the editing floor. I didn’t know him during his mma career but I know him and a few other Metro and I am thankful for all the hard work they put in keeping my town safe from jerks like this guy on leave.
