Fedor vs. Barnett - the powers that be need to get together and make that fight happen

Great fight, only wish the Japanese audience was rowdier so we weren’t subjected to Barnett’s corner blabbing away.

If Bernett had such a hard time with a one dimensional Judoka, imagine the time he would have with a multi-dimensional Judoka like FEDOR, and he won’t out weigh Fedor by 50lbs like he does this guy.

It won’t be as good a fight as it seems.

It’s hard for me to respect someone as a top ranked MMA fighter when he has fat rolls. Granted, Eric Butterbean can hold his own in golden gloves boxing… but, seriously, will Josh Barnett ever not look just fat and out of shape?

What was Barnett waiting for. Barnett should have just submitted him in the first 2 - 3 minutes. I’ve been thinking on a lot of his latest fights, that he doesn’t want them to end. He wants the spar/fight go on for a while, to practice his stamia so that in case he fights Fedor, his cardio and stamina will be up there wher he is going to need it.

The only problem is is that it won’t matter. Fedor will beat him, in many ways he has already. Barnett called out in a TV interview a couple of months agoe that he was calling Fedor out, instead he got his brother, Alexander, and Barnett barely won despite being owned the whole fight. Just wait for Fedor. You asked for it.

uhhhh…. what Omar? your from lima peru? Anyway thats the reason you don’t want to fight with a gi! Some people can pull it off , but it gets hot under those lights. I swear on video two I could of found many reasons why to stop that fight try a facial! I mean he was beating hidehiko so long I think Josh’s hands were going to cum! Sorry for the foul language , but I mean it was a total beat down.

I personally think Josh Barnett is one of the only fighters around that could potentially beat Fedor.

I doubt he’d do it, but he has the toughness and skill set to do it. He was the last fighter to beat Noguiera at the last Pride Heavyweight tournament.

Let’s hope that fight will happen one day.

Barnett always look “flabby”. Don’t forget Fedor also look pretty flabby too. Remember, lean muscles dont win matches.

Barnett, I think, has the potential to give The Last Emperor a run for his money, but I’ve been saying that for two years now. Will it ever happen? Who knows? Fedor’s contract locks him into Russia, right? I guess Pride… I mean, VR… will have to go there to make it happen.

Kinda scary, though: what do you think the outcome of a Couture vs Barnett would be?

barnett is a real talent. he beat cotoure, and i watched him beat nogueira in a submission match, no strikes..he has all the skills, all he has to do is put them together and he’ll be real hard to contend with… if he came to the ufc right now, he’d be heavyweight champ

Well, Fedor keeps fighting in the ring. He’s a God of his own in the ring…What happens when you put him in the cage? Maybe a trip to the UFC for a fight or two, a good fight. No throw aways. Mirko Crocop sucks in a cage, Rua lost, Wanerlei lost, the only one doing good so far are Rampage and Anderson Silva. . .

Totally over matched! Barnett was twice the size of Yoshida (who is Bushido to the max by the way!, Total Legend!) Not a bad fight, but had hints of WWE to me the way the were talkin to each other at the begining!?

its stupid to judge fighters on how ripped their abs are. barnett is a beast, its not about looks its about talent, skill, toughness, and heart
