He mixes up his kicks and punches very well. His game is very simular to Velasquez. Going head to head with Cain Velesquez doesn’t hurt either. Word is from a guy I know that trains at American Kickboxing Acadamy is that Cormier holds his own against Velasquez and is the better wrestler. Silva is too slow to land punches on Cormier…and no way will he be able to take him down. If fact I think Cormier will be able to take Big Foot down with ease. This fight is going to be remenisant of Cain Velasquez vs Ben Rothwell…Maybe not quite as dominant but Cormier will dump the giant on his back. Cormeir really should look into dropping to Light Heavywieght. He carries about 15 lbs of body fat. I seriously think he could give Jon Jones a run for his money. Cormier is the best guy in MMA you’ve never heard of. the only thing working against Cormier is his age. He’s 32 years old and his age will catch up to him soon. After winning the strikeforce grand Prix he should drop to light heavywieght and enter the UFC. Log in to Reply PitFighterZ September 6, 2011 Barnett is clearly the favorite in this fight, but I still stand behind what I said from the beginning: “The Other Russian” Kharitonov is a tough dude and can bang with any of these guys. If Barnett makes a mistake, which is rare, he will go down. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
