Jose Aldo vs Frankie Edgar Fight Video UFC 156 Main Event Bout

I really can’t stand these guys that are currently holding belts. Its as if something is missing.

First time in a while that I watch a fight with sound… Joe Rogan is a biased clown. He kept talking about how Frankie was winning the fight while Aldo was smashing his face with jabs and chopping off his legs.
I maybe crazy, but I agree with two judges that Aldo won rounds 1, 2, 3, and 5. Edgar is a tough fighter, but being tough doesn’t score points. He needs to learn some way to cause damage, although that will probably affect his movement speed.

Good.. no more Frankie rematches.. send him down to 135. Jose Aldo is a mini Anderson Silva, and Brazil is running MMA right now..

aldo won the rounds 10-9, what ever round frank edgar won if he won was like a 10-9.75, so either way, aldo won, just the fact that some morons call it controversial is annoying, its not, aldo could have done and should have done more, but he won easily.

Good for aldo…but its got to be a little bit of a mind F@ck though when a guy takes your best for 2 rounds and then turns it around in the third and then has you on your heels for the 4th and 5th…what if there were 7 rds…or fight to the finish??? or no time limit…or pride rules…10min and 5 min overtime…aldo won the sport fight but once again showd that he is a 3 round fighter.

I scored it 48-47 with Edgar winning the last 3 by traditional scoring rules. In that regard, Aldo lost.

However, I think the sport needs half points to compensate fighters who have more power or to barely give an edge in a close round. With half points, Aldo would clearly be the winner.

Frankie’s tip taps with no power is why most of us prefer the heavy weights.

with all due respect, but some of you people know absolutely nothing about the sport… frankie won 1 round. what else did he do apart from swinging like a fairy? not much. such bad losers..

exactly mrjingles, this is a sport and it has to be scored round by round. people saying Frankie did not do enough to win rounds 3 and 5, tell me something… what did aldo do to win those rounds? edgar pushed and controled the pace and landed more in the last 3 rounds regardless of how dominant aldo was in the first 2.

Frankie clearly won rounds 4 & 5.watch round 3 again. Aldo was more efficient. what should frankie do, move down again? poor poor Frankie, such a small fella.

I swear people who watch this fight and agree that Frankie wasn’t doing anything clearly don’t know anything about fighting. By mid 1st round Frankie’s face was bloody and red and his leg was already bruised. You can’t win a whole match based off a bloody nose in the first round. Frankie took him Down and slammed the s*** out of him and hit him with combos standing up. Aldo was striking the whole time he didn’t drop Frankie or take him down or anything. The same people saying Frankie had no chance would be saying the same for aldo if Edgar won, fake ass people

People need to GTFO with that “you have to take the belt BS”. If that was the case then Frankie should have never lost that belt to Henderson.

I just watched the fight with the sound off and Aldo clearly won in my opinion… Edgar had a good performance but he was hit with big shots… he was only saved by his chin. It wasn’t a wipeout by any means but he didn’t do enough to win. Aldo landed the harder and more consistent shots.
