What´s the flag he´s holding in the end? Seems like part of the crowd starts booing and whistling when they see it…? Something football-related? Brazilians, we need your input!?

The flag he’s holding in the end corresponds to Rio’s soccer team Flamengo. And yes, the crowd is boing and whistling when they see it…. The reason for that crowd behavior may be that in Rio we have others 3 big soccer teams. Also, the crowd had fans for others states of Brazil.

They are cheering “É campeão” that means “It’s champion”, very typical in our soccer stadium indeed. The flag is related to Flamengo soccer club (Aldo’s sponsor), and you can read in it “Torcida Jovem”, wich literally means “Young Supporters”, the biggest Flamengo fan group.

I am wondering what father Dana said to Aldo after that. “do not do that again” . Dana is so square that I can almos hear him saying that. I think that was really cool and I don’t think the security of the UFC knew how to handle it. They pull Aldo really hard almost like he was a criminal.

They are boing case there is a lot of animosity and rivalty between the other 3 soccer clubs in RIO (VASCO DA GAMA, BOTAFOGO and FLUMINENSE).

I thought it was premeditated, gratuitous and forced so yeah he was a d-bag. I dont like Mendes but all I could think was damn Aldo was going to get slammmed but he grabbed the fence in mid air and everyone pretends it didnt happen. I wouldnt even care but dont run around and celebrate when you basically got lucky there. I am not even an Aldo hater i just cant believe no one else points it out.
