Rivera was VERY careful of where his shots were landing. E.Silva, not so much…

Yeah the back of the head comments have no place in this finish. Rivera was a fricken warrior and good to see him go out on a victorious note, and in the UFC instead of some other minor league kind of organization.

Good win for Jorge, glad to see him go out with a come from behind win. BTw, Nicolle makes no sense. Landing one back of the head shot is different than landing several, being warned, and keep on going anyway.

rivera clearly landed some shots in the back of schefer’s head. i’m not saying he should be disqualified but come on guys let’s make it fair. erick silva’s punches in the last UFC didn’t landed more than rivera’s. i know it must be hard to decide in the heat of the fight, but the referee’s call shoudn’t be that subjetive, or else it would be just a matter of your mere opinion. it’s a job. there are rules. it if goes for one fighter, it should go for all fighters. i’m not trying to raise some polemics around here, just some observations, maybe affected by my own personal opinion about yamasaki and herb dean being the worst referees that ever worked at UFC.
