Part 2 – Jon Jones vs. Vitor Belfort Fight Video UFC 152.
I hate to say it but JBJ deserved this win. Most men would’ve tapped. Kudos to JBJ. Kudos to Belfort for not pussing out and fighting injured as well.
I just don’t get vitor keep pulling guard.
little more power when doing the armbar and it would’ve been over! damn it would have been epic!!
I don’t think Anderson has a chance against Bones. The kid really is the best fighter in the world right now and he will hold the HW belt before too long. Can’t wait to see him fight Hendo.
When that armbar locked, I think a lot of people’s hearts skipped for a whole second.
Vitor gassed too soon and never really threaten the champ but for the armbar. He did well, but until someone has Machida’s technique, Hendo’s power, and Gustaffson height, Jones will be pretty much unchallenged. His reach allows him to throw from a safe distance. The kid is good AND has a tremendous physical advantage. Dealing with one of those is difficult, dealing with both is almost impossible.
So many times ppl say they cant wait to see JBJ tested well i think he has. This is the 1st time we have seen him fight hurt. He kept his composure and fought smart a true champion.
As Jones matures I find him harder to hate. Not to mention his undeniable skill. I mean DAMN!
Damn! I couldn’t wait, had to go elsewhere to get news on the fight. Damn I hate that…
Bruno, part 2 not working. Any chance you have another video that has the finish?
Bruno: Fixed.
Neither video will play.
Bruno: both still play for me in IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
Works, thank you, using Firefox
Silva will destroy Jones. Jones did well after getting out of that arm bar but he still doesn’t show the invincibility Anderson Silva has when in the stand up. Anderson’s gaurd is also wayyyy better than Vitor’s.
JBJ has:
too much leverage ( standing & on the ground )
too much reach ( standing & on the ground )
And JBJ has:
good composure
good reflexes
good timing
I think JJ gained some fans after this fight.
JBJ Has earned the last bit of respect I was reserving. Good fight ![]()
come on dude … do we have to hear how JBJ is good but not Silva after every fight ? JBJ right now at 25 is better than Silva … and Silva isn’t invincible in the stand up or due you not remember Sonnen dropping him several times … and before we got to hear about how JBJ got caught in an arm bar .. do we remember Silva getting fully mounted by the immortal Travis Lutter and getting ground and pounded … or Hendo pretty much doing the same … give Jon Jones his props and stop with the bullshit
Thank God some of you guys are rediscovering the talent and the kinda dude JBJ is man…..He’s a really good guy as you shoulda seen him throw himself into a crowd of fans who were constantly rippin on him, just to give props, sign a couple autographs and do some high fives. That means alot!
After seeing some of the comments before holy f*ck, some of you seemed Holier then Jesus!
Anyways Thank You Peeps! I love Vitor, however JBJ was destined to beat him handily. 9 to 1 was a little excessive IMO.
As for this BS with Silva ‘destroying JBJ’, seriously Bones is one of the smartest fighters out there, and if a guy like Sonnen did what he did against Anderson, add a larger arsenal, a faster game, a ridiculous reach, and a dude that’s 1000000 times smarter then the American Badass and trust me peeps, he’ll compete alot more then some of you will give them credit for.
All the best!
Thanks, I dont know what you did but it finally played for me!
Jones is way bigger than everybody else..Whats the deal
All you guys using the first A.Silva v Sonnen fight to say that Silva is hit-able are all idiots and n00bs! Its well documented that Silva fought that fight with injured ribs which he sustained in training camp leading to that fight. The injured ribs limited Anderson’s mobility and caused him to get tagged more by Sonnen. Therefor Sonnen’s success at hitting Anderson were a fluke which is further supported by the fact that Sonnen could not touch Anderson’s face in the second fight no matter how much he tried and no matter which obscure strikes he attempted.
the UFC should put up a non-title , catchweight fight between JBJones and A. Silva, that would be the fight of the decade, who would not pay to see that? all props to JBJ
A. Silva has no reason to fight JBJ. Why would he risk his legacy to fight him? A. Silva is 37, and would most likely be 38-39 by the time they actually fight..
Be realistc, JBJ is 25-(26,27 by the time they would fight). Larger, heavier, and younger. Put it this way, would you risk your career, your legacy? No. Fighting is a career just like any other. Just like you wouldn’t risk arguing back with your boss to prove you are right. He would possibly lose sponsorship, his legacy would be tarnished with that one loss. It doesn’t seem feasible, not in a business sense. Sorry kids.
Either you guys are incredibly young, who aren’t in the work field yet, or you’re just stupid. – sorry to be blunt. But I am leaning more towards the former anyways.. ![]()
hey cheers bruno for sending me here. awesome fight..im guessing you lost some money on this?
Bruno: Lost $500 on this fight but came up + 375 on the night.
or no where you going to put money on the bonar vs spider
Bruno: putting money on Bonner.
@AndersonJones
Why would fighting the best guy in the world 1 weight class higher then him would be bad for his legacy??This is not boxing where they build their fighters to 30-0 before putting them in a real fight. This is MMA.Anderson’s legacy would be bigger if he lost to Jones then if he just didn’t fight him.
“do we remember Silva getting fully mounted by the immortal Travis Lutter and getting ground and pounded … or Hendo pretty much doing the same”
I don’t remember Hendo landing anything on Silva, that fight was incredibly one-sided (minus Hendo’s takedown). I do remember them both being submitted though.
More realistic catchweight fights would be GSP vs Silva and JBJ vs JDS.
with Silva and JDS winning.
Only a f@g takes $hit from his “boss” when he knows that his employer wrong.
