UFC 135 MMA fight videos of Jon Jones vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. This main event light-heavyweight title bout took place on Sep 24, 2011 in Denver, Colorado.
rampage was in shape but he has the most stupid coaches. was was that gameplan? just let jones hit and wait for an opening…common you need to force him to make a mistake…rampage diddnt utilize leg kicks just stood there….argh train somewhere with intelligent coaches
wat a dic
Rampage had great head movement and take down defense so neutralize J.J.’s offense.
Jones Jones still had the reach advantage which made the whole difference.
Rampage did expose that J.J. does not like to get hit.
I hope that Shogun rematches him and uses his leg kicks to beat J.J.
Jones is a beast. It looked like Jackson was looking for a way out in the 4th.
got it going crappy fight by rampage good job on jones using his legnth still not convinced hes the future but joe rogan seems to be showing by how he was riding jone’s COCK the whole time i hate when they do that crap
thanks for all the uploads UR THE FRICKEN MAN
stellar
he is the real deal.. amazing!
JBJ is brilliant. And Bruno, you are a godsend. Thanks for the always reliable links.
that wasnt very cool of jones to pick up page like that because the rnd was over and he stopped defending it and page could of really damage him if he set up his punches better jones fought smart but he was obviously scared to “fight” page but good way to get the points on his side and wait till page was tired and sink in a choke
$1,000,000.00
down the drain
god damnit mr.T !
joe rogan was honestly over exaggerating… to me it looked like quinton was just looking for the right time to explode and most of jones shots wernt doing much.. but i was like.. rogan is making jones look like hes doing something special yeah he was winning by points but it looked to me quinton wasnt hurt by those shots in the beginning…
ones very methodical in breaking Rampage down. He’s going to be champ for some time to come
Gotta give it to Jones, he fights pretty smart. Stick and move and bide your time til Rampage gets tired, then move in for the kill. Hell, he tried to take it to the ground immediately. I guess I shouldn’t have questioned his resolve at the weigh-ins. Still was disrespectful with the “takedown” at the end of the round, but whatev . . . I still want that Machida-Bones matchup; that’s if we can’t have Bones vs. Silva.
atleast rampage did a nice job of hyping the fight. He looked like a menace out there before the fight but after the bell he looked like a frozen popsicle which was kinda expected because he couldn’t convince me that the best rampage ever just stood there the whole time?? Where your OFFENSE? Atleast rashad knows how to beat him. Jones should move up to HW if he wants some competition.
joe rogan was seriously riding jon jones’ cock
wow people, give it up, page got beat by a BETTER fighter.
Only thing Rampage exposed is that he’s not in the same league as Jones.
Awesome “chassé bas” from french savate. It really f***** up Rampage’s knee.I don’t know why not more guys use it.Silva uses it well too.
lets see him vs machida i think that would be a good match up there are a lot of 205′s that will give him a good fight
@what a rearded fight
Jones was scared to fight Rampage??I don’t think we saw the same fight.Who was attacking?Jones.Who was flinching at every movement his opponent made?Ramapge.Your name should just be what a retard.Being a goo technical fighter and not looking for the 1 hook KO is not being scared. If you consider Jones wasscared then I would pick a “scared” fighter over anyone else to bet on.You must consider Machida,Silva and GSP scared fighters because they are smart and completly dominate their opponents without getting hit most of the time.
jones is the future fellas. He’s big, fast, very well rounded, but most importantly smart. He knew damn well if he got anywhere near pages range, it could be lights out. I wouldve like to see page win but its hard to counter punch a guy with a 84″ reach. You know Rashad was watching and learning. Unfortunately for JJ, Rashad has the same KO power, can wrestle very well, and is just as fast as JJ. That is gonna be a badass fight.
hey bruno any chance you can get the post fighter interview with jon jones i want to see how he made rashad a fool out of himself?
avoiding taking hits doesnt make somebody scared, it makes them smart
you’ve got to be shitting me if you thought rampage had good takedown defense.
John Jones just looked like he was in a whole different league, and rampage looked lost
Hendo will stop Jones.
Good lord you haters are losers.. just f****** respect the kid. You don’t have to like him, but respect his talents. You make yourself look dumb, by constantly making excuses every time Jones goes out and dominates the competition. Michael Jordan crushed my favorite teams more times than I care to remember. At some point, you just tip your hat, and say “Respect”. He’s the best in his class right now…
Ahhhhhhhh. An utter slaughter, just as predicted. You could tell Rampage was mentally taken out of the fight by the end of the first round.
Said it before, say it again: Jones is the best American MMA fighter of all time. P4P he’s getting up there…shouldn’t be too long before he cleans out his division and Anderson Silva starts dodging the superfight everyone wants.
good fight. rogan was right. this isnt boxing. throw some leg kicks or go for a takedown. rampage need some new trainers if he think someone is gonna stand toe to toe and trade nothing but punches with him. like how he escaped that full mount but thats it. rashad evans is awkward but jones is too active of a striker. i think he’ll be up on points against most guys he faces.
I’m still laughing at all the WWE posers who thought Rampage was taking this fight LOL. Talk about taking money from a bunch of babies. (Also good to see more people are getting tired of coke-head Rogans nonsense).
Rampage had excellent striking and takedown defense. At least much better than any of Jones’ previous opponents. To me it seems that Rampage’s strategy sucked. His corner sounded in disarray. Sure he had to close the distance but they never seemed to tell him how to do so… just “close the distance, close the distance”. How about reminding your athlete how to do that instead of just saying it over and over. I dont know if it would have made a difference in the end but its always interesting to see how coaches from Greg Jackson’s camp always seem to have it together in between rounds compared to other camps.
I was not impressed with Jones’ striking at all in this fight. He seemed to miss a lot more than he ever has.
To me Jackson lost due to lack of willingness to do something different. He should really just go into boxing and call it a day. He barely kicks, never takes people down anymore, never grapples offensively. He refuses to be well rounded enough to fight modern MMA. Go to boxing and make more money… There is also his movies.
Same old Rampage. Slow footed, no combos, kicks, or game plan and loading up on his punches to try to end the fight with one punch. Another easy fight for Jones.
for all the rampage nuthuggers…IN YOUR FACE!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Rampage got dominated like we said he would…lol!! That win was effin sweet! Say what you want..bottom line is Rampage tapped like a little b!tch lololol!!!!! Yeah accept the reality beotch@! lolol!!
I hate the reach advantage. I think that in this case the best way is kicks to the legs to neutralize that reach diference. I hate that f***ing rogan bitch. Is he was a woman he would take JJ for blowride
What prevented such a talented fighter from achieving his full potential.
Wheres all u s*** talkerz now! Rampage this and that but that fool is just a movie star. Jon Jones is gonna be champ for a long time.Mark my words
Excuses for Rampage, seriously? According to his videos and the hype you all bought into there were to be no excuses. Those of you who still don’t give Jones respect don’t know mma. He is using his tools to win so what’s the problem. And as far as not liking forget hit…which of you idiots enjoys it? Keep running your jealous mouths about Jones and making excuses for every opponent he sends away dejected.
s*** fight, jon jones is a monkey, he only wins with his reach, he should get reach surgery and let’s see if he can win with 74 reach
Jones has beat some top level competition in the 205 division. He is obviously the real deal if he finished Rampage, there is something to be said about that for sure!
Did Rampage throw more than 3 punches the entire fight? Why did he just stand there and try to counter punch? Wheres the god damn offence? piss me off
JJ is going to be here a long time. Ramapge, change your dam name. Time to retire & go start a career in s*** TALKING. Thats all rampage does. WAR JJ!!!
Bravo! Jones! I was on Rampage side, but I think Quinton got what he deserved. Clear and simple.
For love sake! Why did you not punish those long thin legs Quinton? Why??? Dude!!!
Jones did what he had to do against a walking L/R fighter. Mixed it up, hurt him meticulously and take him home.
Nice work
dont blame rampage or his coaches…blame yourselves for thinking Rampage could win this..
I wanna see Jones vs. A. Sliva. I could care less about GSP vs. Silva, this one makes more sense and would be epic.
joe rogan probaby whacks but off thinking about jones’ bone ,but f**k dat I wanna see machida beat this fool down
Rashad will beat this kid. Good thing soccer kicks are illegal otherwise this one would have been over at the very beginning. Good Luck to Jones anyway.
I really think Machida could beat him up via KO because Machida has a strange style
JJ & MAchida= The best warriors in UFC. JJ will beast anderson silva. Lol what a way to burn $1,000,000.00 rampage LMAO with your trainers to the bank.. SUCKA!!!
Thanks for re-posting, Bruno!
Aren’t kicks directly to the front of the knee illegal in the UFC? Thaose do have the potential to end someone’s career, if you blow the knee.
Apparently MusclePharm backed the wrong fighter, so much for all the Spy talk.
Rampage was barely in the fight, as for best shape of his life fighters should always come to fight in the best shape.
Watch the fight again for those that do not see, it was one sided.
rampage is old jones is much younger plain and simple … jones really didnt seem all that into the fight otherwise it would have been over sooner … i honestly dont see anyone in the LHW division giving jones a challenge other than Phil Davis but i see that still going jones way … hes just much longer than everyone else and fights smartly
Best Ever! Would kill Anderson Silva
the best fighters in the world have a tendency to make extraordinary fighters look ordinary. jon jones did just that in this fight.
rampage was just too hurt and was too worried about the takedowns to rush in at jones
@mmafan: It’s not about Rampage being able to win, it’s about his training and game plan and, well, everything he did in this fight was the dumbest possible way to fight Jones.
Now, let’s cut the crap. Bones is an excellent fighter mostly because he thinks. He is not brilliant in any way, but he knows he has all the physical advantages and use them. I think Machida is a smarter fighter, but Bones is stronger, with better wrestling and the freakish reach. It would be a more interesting fight than most. we have seen so far.
Rashad is another fighter who likes to study his opponents and that could cause Bones some problems.
All that said, Bones has some nasty natural perks that, because he has a brain and knows how to use them, makes it pretty damn hard to beat him at 205.
Rampage hasn’t been able to fight anyone but out of his uncanny toughness since before he came to the UFC. I haven’t seen Rampage actually fight (and not box) since Pride. And training with Tikki will not make him any better.
It’s a new era for MMA. AKA, ATA, Grudge, Jackson, Cesar Gracie, AAA, all know that. It’s mental and you need smart and powerful athletes, not dumb brawlers. You can see in all divisions the champ is the guy who outsmarts the opponents AND has the physical attributes to back it up.
Fools… if REACH was the only thing that mattered in MMA, f*** Stefan Struve would be Heavyweight Champion.. Haters are pathetic..
jones is a puss
thanks bruno!
Did anyone notice that rampage smashed jones head into the cage in the ?second? round then tossed him off. That made me laugh. Never seen anyone do that before.
I thought rampage did quite well. He should have used his leg kicks more, but jones was very respectful of rampages power. You could tell that rampage really wanted this.
Great match.
The only fight left for Bones Jones is Anderson Silva…Period!
This guy didn’t even TRY to win it. This is what sucked! he barely threw few punches – how can you win if you fight like that? there are probably 10 guys who would beat him (on points) if he did it with them. Including Forrest. He’s a WASTED talent. There are guys 10 times less talented than page, who are at least trying. He failed miserably not because he lost, but because he didn’t TRY TO WIN. he doesn’t deserve main event status. At least there is no way I’m buying an evenet with page as main event, or even on the main card. waste of money
and I’m not trying to diminish bones – most likely he would have won anyway, but at least he would be forced into deeper water. this fight maybe actually harmful for him and give him a false sense of security before more stiff challenges in the future. imo forrest griffing would probably do more to at least TRY to win (and most likely lose in the action packed 1st round) than page. jones is imho the best guy at the weight class, and one of the best overall, but page didn’t show up today.
Why everyone calls for JJ against Anderson fight, and not for JJ against Cain? Not saying JJ couldn’t beat even Cain on a given day, but saying JJ is unstoppable is silly.
yes his physical build is a hard card to overcome at this weight.reminds me of emile griffith in a way.his upper body was middleweight but his legs were thin so he was welter.
you gotta kick those legs hard, few people said this, but so far nobody could do this. I believe that’s one of the ways – low kicks
im gonna see the fight a second time, maybe rampage is gonna beat jones this time lololol
jones did good…he didnt look great..rogan made it sound like a completely different fight than it was…now im sure eddie bravo is pissed becuase he was on jones d!ck so hard last night…but jone pulled the ole michael bisping gameplan…where you score points weak shots and flat out run away when your opponent throws down…jones is good and has alot of potential but he does not how power, and his striking is not the accurate and precise as rogan leads on..but i didnt like those front push kicks to the knee beacuase imo thats what took rampage out…he honestly looked like he couldnt plant on his left leg all after the first 3 push kicks to the knee and he looked like he was hobbling on on leg the whole fight imo..thats why after he took that last push kick he hopped on one leg to the cage and just leaned on it waiting for jones..i really think that those push kicks to the knee completely changed the whole fight for rampage and left him wiht only one good leg to plant…..just rewatch the fight and look at how many times he went to make a move the required pushing off wiht his left leg..and everytime his weight shifted on that leg he just bailed on the attack.but jones played it safe and won…im just thankfull that he played it safe on the feet instead of the blanket mode .
I don’t know, guys. Bones looked pretty good against a REALLY slow Rampage. I actually expected much more out of him, though. And the one time that Rampage actually popped him one, Bones clearly did NOT like it one bit.
Bones looked good, but beatable, in my opinion. Rashad’s gonna bust his ass. You’ll see.
its funny how fast people jump on bandwagons. i remember at one point tito is the best ever he’s going to dominate, then chuck kicks his sorry ass and its chuck omg his strikes are crazy he’s going to dominate he’s the future, then rampage ktfo then its rampage is the future of mma, then machida picks people apart and then its machida is the future, then shogun kills machida and its shogun is to his former self hes gonna be champ for a while. then its bones is the future i dont buy it at all. i didn’t watch the shogun bones fight but i’m sure all he did was stay outside and throw kicks hardly utilizing his hands maybe some elbows. put rashad in there he’s lightning quick, more versatile striking wise and has better takedowns than rampage. call me a hater but i just dont buy into the hype yet.
Rampage listen carefully, f!*k MusclePharm, f!*k your trainers. Move to Thailand, pick a school and learn how to use the 8 limbs. Bam! Simple math. Free of charge buddy, take it and go!
So nothing unexpected honestly. Though watching this fight showed me Jones fighting style to the T. Look a fighter whose controlled aggressive with give Jones problems, because he has such long reach he’ll more often than not just keep it at a distance and pick apart others with cute strikes. Someone who is a quick starter and has short bursts of aggression frequently will hurt Jones.
This is the only fight I was really able to pick Jon Jones apart and really look at him.
Now with that said he should be champ for quite awhile he’s still learning the game and much stronger than most give him credit for. Skinny strength!
Realistically, Rashad has a much better chance than I thought he did at first, and honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if Rashad beat Jones.
Only time will tell, but hell, this kid is good. And I believe (though I dislike him) that he will (if not already) be the top fighter in the world. Bar none
Jones would smash anderson silva, and i would love to see it!
Jones will get beat by somebody sooner or later.they all do.
@ dasd I agree 100%!
he should have used more leg kicks and mixed it more. he pretty much let jones know that the only thing he was going to do is to punch! and jones stayed away from his range and he didn’t have to worry about anything else!
I honestly think if some could go inside and get close and mix things up a bit they can beat jones his biggest advantage is his range where he can hit and hid defensive range. he can hit you with out you reaching him but if some one closes in on him and mix things up they can beat him.
It looked like Jones was toying with him just to get the fight to the championship rounds just to say he’s been there.
The way jones started the fight was very strange. Maybe Rich Franklin helped him with this fight and gave Jones advice like he gave Serra during his time as the coach on Ultimate Fighter 4.
Jones didnt impress me too much in this fight. He just stood behind his reach and threw weak strikes and pretty cheap but legal strikes to Rampages knee. Rampage looked in good shape, but his game plan was terrible. I feel like he threw like 5 predictable punches per round. He could have hit jones and rocked him if he threw some 4-5 punch flurries, but nope…just the same old never-evolving rampage. The only thing he did good was TDD. But page seemed to give up easy at the end.
@RNSmoke
I normally agree with you, but in this case not so much.
You really think Suga beats Bones? I don’t see it happening. Their wrestling will cancel out and Jones is a much better striker.
Rashad has won his last few big fights using his wrestling. I don’t see him taking JBJ down and he’s screwed on the feet.
For the record, I see Machida as the toughest matchup at 205 for Bones.
If he beats Rashad, then Machida, I want to see him fight Silva.
I can not stand it when posters insult the fighters – you get in there if you know so much. That said, Rampage looked better than ever and last night could have finished most of the top 10 LHWs. Jones demonstrated unmatched versatility. There is no one else fighting today who presents so many different situations to their opponents. Rampage’s corner did not give good advice because except for the third round Jones changed his stance, style and strategy. Were it not for the fact that Rampage is built like a rock, this fight would have been over in the first round. Rampages TDD was arguably the best in the division and he did a great job of avoiding most of the potentially devastating elbows that everyone else fell victim to.
I don’t think its time to declare him unbeatable, but it is difficult to pick an opponent in the LHW division. Evans should not be underestimated with his terrific movement and cardio. Machida has the tools to make it a close fight, but his record against fighters who Jone’s have finished is not good. Overall, an amazing demonstration of technique and strategy.
Watch at 4:10 in the second round when Jones kicks Pages knee and he is never the same after it. His leg seems wobbly and likely to buckle. It is fine that Jones used it in the fight, but that move should be banned because it can easily injure your knee badly if you are coming forward.
I have a feeling more fighters will start using the side kick to knee more after seeing jones and anderson do it and this will greatly increase the chances of serious and possibly career-jeopardizing knee injuries
was rooting for rampage cause hes ol school , but that was his last chance for the belt ..hard to get inside on jones , but jones did runaway when page got close , jones knew where the danger was . smart fighter . as he stays the champ , people will study him and he will get tested harder each fight . rampage was looking for that one punch k.o . cant wait for next challenger to test him . time for GSP to dominate condit now folks
Anderson Silva would beat Jon Jones now, but that fight won’t happen because there are too many guys at 205 who deserve title shots. IF Jones manages to cleat out his division like Silva did, then that fight will happen. But wait, Silva is 37 and IF Jones clears out his division, Silva will be retired by then. Fantasy fight …
i think machida can give jones problem, with his speed and counterstrike and his elusive style, but jones has a long long reach avantage over any body in LH ,distance is key in a fight,i also think that phill davis can also give jones problem in the future, hes strong and good westling but his striking need to improve pronto
What was up with that Spiderman walk Jones did in the first round? Too bad soccer kicks are banned!
I dont see how everyone is saying rashad will give jones trouble. His reach is equal or even less than shogun’s or page and he’s shorter. Jones has better judo/wrestling. Rashad is just like page, his only chance is a one punch ko. Jones will dominate rashad as much or more so than the opponents before him. As far as machida is concerned, shogun exposed his “style” already. Hit him hard and fast and he can’t weather the storm. Bones reigns supreme at 205 for a long time to come.
Hendo
what do you expect from rampage he trains at Wolfslair MMA Academy
@RearNakedSmoke – agreed. I also believe page, even when he got on the inside a few times, didn’t even TRY to do the damage. He lasks a killer instinct in my opinion. The only way to beat Jones is to get on the inside and try to knock his head off. Also very often when page threw a low kick, he landed. Why he abandoned it is beyond me. The were screaming “you must find get the rangeę but what’s the poing of struggling to get in the range if you won’t even try to do something with it ? I don’t get it. I believe Rashad has much more “killer” in him nowadays to at least give bones a good scrap, maybe even beat him up. Bones is not unbeatable – far from that. It’s just that page has no drive – it’s like that for the last 3-4 fights and it’s the last fight of him I’m watching.
if quinton and jon went toe to toe and turned it into a street fight rampage would have totally messed him up so really it looked like jon out pointed him bad buti still think quinton can beat him if he just gets inside and doesnt hesitate and sets it up better and once he gets inside jones would have been done… but he didnt so he made jon look like a superstar when all he had to do was get inside and clip him a few a times
if quinton and jon went toe to toe and turned it into a street fight rampage would have totally messed him up so really it looked like jon was a star buti still think quinton could win if he gets inside and doesnt hesitate and sets it up better and once he gets inside jones would have been done but he didnt so he made jon look like star when all he had to do was get inside and clip him a few a times did jones win the fight yes and he looked good doing it.. but giving it deep thot page can beat him. its more of a delusion than anything else i really saw that if page finds a way inside jon cant do nothin but thats jsut my 2 cents…
without the reach page would of messed him up but since he has it its really hard to deal with and he knows how to use it well unlike struve
if quinton and jon went toe to toe and turned it into a street fight rampage would have totally messed him up so really it looked like jon was a star buti still think quinton could win if he gets inside and doesnt hesitate and sets it up better and once he gets inside jones would have been done but he didnt so he made jon look like star when all he had to do was get inside and clip him a few a times did jones win the fight yes and he looked good doing it.. but giving it deep thot page can beat him. its more of a delusion than anything else i really saw that if page finds a way inside jon cant do nothin but thats jsut my 2 cents…
@dissapointed
If it was so easy to just go inside Jon Jone sand beat him, everybody would be MMA champs.Even Keyboard warriors like you could be champs. The problem is getting insied the range of a good striker is hard. And that streetfight comment proved how ingorant you are.
Both fighters have different range.
Rampage can be out of his own range and still be in Bones’ range.
For Rampage to be out of Bones’ range he would have to be way out of his own range.
Then you add in the factor that attacks have their own different ranges too.
And some fighters are better and certain attacks more than others.
Then there are the wild card attacks which are not supposed to work but they do.
Range is to know you are either out of attack range or within attack range.
Range is to know which attacks are used from which range.
Range is the know the ranges of various attacks.
Range is the avoid but still have balance and position and range to counter.
Range is the attack but still have balance and range to avoid counters.
Range is to know how your opponent is using range.
Range is to not be within your opponent’s attack range only to let him attack.
Range is to not just play catcher (target practice for your opponent).
Rampage advanced, but he stopped at Bones’ attack range, but still out of his own attack range. If you are going in, do something, or don’t go in. Bones was measuring Rampage.
rashad has a chance because bones wont throw kicks if theres a solid wrestler on the other side thats just giving him a single leg. i never did see any boxing out of jones i see crazy kicks and elbows but i dont see hands. jones isn’t an aggressor he sits back and picks his shots very wisely so thats why machida will be interesting jones will be anxious in my opinion and throw his game plan away of being the smart striker. and if cormier drops to 205 that just presents another threat he’s just basically a better quicker version of rashad. even phil davis can present problems another big athletic guy who can wrestle. did we ever see jones off his back against a good wrestler?
Thanks Bruno.
I still do not understand why no one seems to even acknowledge the fact that jones completley took rampage out with those front kicks to the knee..(whch i think is very cheap and unsportsmanlike but legal)…rampage could not even plant on his leadl left leg becuase of those kicks..and they are what made the whole fight the way it was..you take away those acl blowing kicks and rampage does a whole lot more…not saying ti would of changed the outcome..but it would have made it a different fight.
first he has to beat rashad because he didn’t beat a wrestler that can box and is lighting quick like rashad is. look at bone’s fight with bader he threw no kicks did nothing in the standup and relied on his takedowns, but i doubt rashad will let him do that, he’s a good enough wrestler and quick enough to stuff bone’s takedowns. if bone’s does decide to throw kicks and turn his back on those spinning elbows rashad will take him down and we’ll see bone’s work off his back for the first time. then he has to get past machida, who is stylistically, a good matchup for a young bone’s who might get too anxious and be too aggressive against machida instead of sticking to his strength which is picking his shots when his opponents lunge forward. then he’ll have to get past hendo and cormier when he drops down to 205 two guys who outclass him wrestling wise. hendo has that one punch knockout and crazy control from the clinch. and cormier has quick hands and solid boxing like rashad but is much much stronger. then he’ll have to get past davis a guy like bone’s who is a phenomenal athlete and great wrestler with a good jiu jitsu game. he has alot of guys to go through before i say he’s anywhere near the same class as gsp or anderson silva
Man I regret making my last post on this thread.
Looks like I’m bragging or boasting or trying to act like I know whatever.
I wanted to express a perspective, but I don’t think my comment did that at all.
If you were watching the fight closely, you could plainly see that bones copied a good many moves (especially the kicks) and techniques from A.Silva. Thing is: Anderson silva knows how to do A.S. better than anyone else.
Using his kicks to keep the page at bay was key in this fight. It threw off Page the whole time. Silva utilizes his kicks the same way. No way will Bones get close enough to Silva to throw the spinning elbow or fist. I think Silva would be looking to counter that move than just ducking under it.
When Page got cut, it basically altered the fight by making Page start over protecting the cut and. It seem to take a lot out of him. Plus, its frustrating to get kicked and not being able to get in and fire off some blows yourself. It was the main cause of him allowing Bones to get his back to apply the RNC.
When was the last time you saw Silva get cut like that. He protects himself better. That,s why I say that his speed, power and Jitsu would be too much for Jones. Anderson got reach and creative moves.
In short, Bones is a fake carbon copy of the Spider. More important, Silva is more accurate a puncher. Yeah, lets see that fight!
Rampage has no leg movements, just like Couture. He is all about power without finess and it just does not work against a more powerful fighter with more skills…
Rampage will be good at fighting old dudes; just for the show.
