Not sure what all the hate on Seagal is all about. Yeah it’s true the guy was not the greatest actor during his time and often sounds more like a crazy philosopher than a martial artist. But unlike other idiots that I have seen giving out their opinion on UFC fighter. This guy hasen’t said anything disrespectful about MMA, the UFC or any fighter out there. For all you haters that don’t know anything about the guy aside from his movies. He was the first foreigner to get passed 5th Belt Black belt in Aikido,and was the first foreigner allowed to teach Aikido in Japan. In the Japanese Aikido community he’s seen as one of the greatest masters and promoters of the art. So yeah that might explain why Machida or Anderson might listen to some of the things he’s got to say. Jones on other hand is more interested it on his public image so he would never be caught in public with someone like Seagal.

If you go back and watch ALL of his interviews with Ariel you will see that Seagal is a LIAR. Someone needs to do a video edit of steven seagel saying one thing in an interview and then immediately edit in a a clip of his saying the opposite. Kind of like the charlie murphy/rick james skit where Rick james denies slapping charlie murphy and them admits it right after.
First seagal says he “Invented that front kick” and then in another interview he says “i never said I invented that kick” as well as “Jones is a friend” followed by Jones saying “I dont even know how he got my number”
I am not saying Seagal is not a master at his chosen art. I’m simply saying he is a manipulating liar with alterior motives who is arrogant far beyond his skill level.

If you guys did some more research on Steven Seagal you would realize hes full of BS. Back in the 90′s I think he put out a challenge in Black Belt magazine to fight anyone to the death who showed up at his California Dojo. For 6 or 7 months a C level fighter named Jason Delucia waited for Steven Seagal to show up and fight him and he never did… this guys a joke… He claimed Anderson Silva’s front kick was his even though Anderson Silva has been doing that kick for years… This guy just wants to get in the scene but was too afraid to fight himself.

first of all jon jones isnt at his peak he throws no combos like segal said . second segal never said he invinted the front kick he said he remodified it so it be more affective. if jon jones did let him train him he would be better on the stand up wise .. and jon jones did look scared and alil slow in that fight … jon jones is one of the best but i am prety shore that dan henderson will oventually fight him and knock him out .because good mma fighters train at one gym but great mma fighters train at more than one for more knowledge. but the rashad fight mite be a big upset for jones because hes to cocky he thinks he cant get advice from no one execpt greg jackson which is dumb.

Aikido doesnt mean s*** in the fighting world. the early ufc days sorted once and for all the effective martial arts from the gay ones and turns out there were’nt many good ones. A decent boxer/striker will generally smash most black belt martial arts guys and thats why its used in the ufc along with wrestling and jujitsu today. This guy is hated cause he has absolutely no relevence in mma and walks around like he knows everything. If you check his fight record well you wont be able to cause there isnt one. He has had ZERO fights.
