Let’s see, how could Jones have decided to do this? He’s 24, probably SI offered him a lot of money, his manager and SI convinced him that it would increase his exposure (no pun intended) – thus leading to even more money from endorsements, and that he’d be part of a project that would promote respect for physical fitness. Oh yeah, and he’s 24, so he believed them.
They probably also showed him Herschel Walker’s picture from last year’s “Bodies” issue (with a MUCH less wierd picture though) and convinced him that everyone is doing it.
Oh yeah, he’s 24, so he thought it would be really cool.
