i like both fighters, but i like to see an underdog win. machida has studied technique far beyond those jones has faced so far. should be an excellent show.

This open workout stuff is just to showcase the diversity of fighters. In real life Jones will only throw the jab and keep Machida on the outside and pick him apart with leg kicks. When the time is right somewhere in the 4th or 5th round I predict Jones will take Machida down and bash him in a manner similar to what he did to Brendan Vera.
Don’t expect much in this fight it will be a snore-fest full of stalemates and posturing followed by 1min of merciless G&P. The real fight to watch is Mir and Big Nog.

Unfortunately agreed with above post. Shogun showed that the key to beating Machida’s rangy karate style and movement pattern is leg kicks. Jones is gonna be chopping away. Hopefully Machida learned from his mistakes and can stun and finish this cocky f*ck.
