Amazing parents, and it’s time to give Jones a break on the Chael fight, UFC and Dana have to take some responsibility for cancelling of event along with Dan Henderson. I thought you would be on this one like fly’s to shit already. Anyway, I’ll give you a free bone to fiend on. Jones says it’s nothing to do with wanting to hurt someone. Didn’t he recently say in a previous interview he would gladly hurt Chael Sonnen? partial contradiction, but hey I’m a Jones fan, you try second guessing everything you say in front of the worlds media. I guess you can hate me now. By the way what’s the deal with Kobe’s brother – Still, like his style. MAA Log in to Reply The guy who thinks he is better than everyone else September 18, 2012 Jon jones doesn’t need walk in music when he fights in the octagon because all of heaven and earth’s angels sing in praise of his glory. Even at the tender age of 24. Log in to Reply DavidJones September 18, 2012 jones suck, he refused to fight a guy half his size with 1/10 the talent and no punches chance, only a coward got to get ready for this after he already went through fight camp. Try 27-12 you jackass! Log in to Reply Dormath September 18, 2012 **** him and his CEO bullshit. Log in to Reply jeff_figmb September 18, 2012 Sonnen said it right, “He’s a little brat!” Can’t stand this guy Log in to Reply drewblood September 18, 2012 @wcoastassassin…agreed. it’s getting hard to hate on Jones when he’s under constant fire and maintains his composure. bottom line is the man beats the hell out of people and finishes fights and is entertaining. you can only hate on a fighter like that to a point. Log in to Reply junglerottjim September 18, 2012 ok lets see your in shape you have been trainging 2 months for a wrestler maybe a heavy handed one but a wrestler he gets hurt so dana ask you to fight holy shit another wrestler and you turn it down because your not prepared? jon jones your are not a champion, someone please take the belt from the bitch refusing to defend it. Log in to Reply mmashburn September 18, 2012 He must have meant chael’s UFC record when he said 6-5, not his overall MMA career.. Log in to Reply joeyjojo September 18, 2012 bones is coming into his prime, he sounds douchey, but is a tough person to beat Log in to Reply marv September 18, 2012 What is this dude talkin. Log in to Reply DavidJones September 19, 2012 i really hope jones will not break A. silva’s records at most title defences and most consequtive wins, this guy is a real genuine Axxhole. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick September 19, 2012 @GrapplingJ He looked like his breath was still smelling like Dana’s *******.How much of a kiss ass you have to be to say any fight who was not in the UFC isn’t MMA.That sounded just like Dana White. @junglerottjim This is not UFC 1.There’s no more “wrestlers” or “strikers” anymore they are all MMA fighters. And if you actually knew anything about Dan Henderson or Chael Sonnen you would know they are really different fighters. One guy throws bombs and does 90% of his takedowns from the clinch and you have a guy who throws almost only double legs, has a totally different aproach to the ground game and who’s also 10 pounds bigger. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick September 19, 2012 But he should’ve taken the fight. Log in to Reply eizmed September 19, 2012 Something in his body language seems really off. He said that he was not worried about Chael, and then go onto say that they wear 4 ounce gloves and anything can happen etc. etc.. sooooo he IS worried of the uncertainty of fight-sports ? Cannot help tbut to think he’s a hypocrite… Pity, really wanted to like him and be his fan but he’s making it harder and harder ! Log in to Reply brucelee23 September 19, 2012 We were out with the church playing with each other, wrestling and so … “Jones, Christianity ignores incest” !!! Log in to Reply straightAhead September 19, 2012 Dana should have sweetened the deal and offered more money that cheap bastard!! Log in to Reply Oswald Cobblepot September 19, 2012 It’s the organizations responsibility to fill the cards with enough talent (excluding the feather, fly, and bantam weight classes) to sustain losses. The UFC has had to spread itself thin with so many events accross three platforms. They thought that the addition of the lighter weight classes would help to fill events, and it has but most fans do not really care about the lighter weight fighters either because they are really boring (really) or they have not had the time to grow into stars. Less is more? Log in to Reply rltcv September 19, 2012 Giving football players who make hundreds of thousands to millions the fight for free in their hotel rooms while everyone else has to pay full price for the ppv. Yeah that sounds about right. Log in to Reply jakelo September 19, 2012 I stopped at 1 minute… great more than usual… Log in to Reply Ground St. Pound September 20, 2012 Damn, so many bitter souls. My favourite comment was junglerottjim calling Jones a “bitch”. You can’t pay for better comedy than a fan on the internet calling an undefeated champion fighter a bitch. That’s just great. @eizmed – I think he’s just saying that he’s the type of fighter who gets a lot of his confidence and tactics from training for a specific fighter’s style. I really doubt he thinks Chael has knockout power in his fists. The 4oz gloves comment was an analogy to say “No, I wasn’t concerned about it being Chael in particular, but this is a sport where in the blink of an eye anything can happen.” I really don’t think he was insinuating he was afraid of Chael, least of all Chael’s hands! Judging from the temperaments of most of the posters here, I’d bet a year’s salary that 95%-100% of them would come off worse than Jon does if they were a fighting champion in the public eye and considered one of the best alive. At 23 years of age. You guys sound like you’d do better. I don’t think so. Bitter souls. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
