Amazing to have 3 super athletes from the same family. Amazing parents, and it’s time to give Jones a break on the Chael fight, UFC and Dana have to take some responsibility for cancelling of event along with Dan Henderson.

jones suck, he refused to fight a guy half his size with 1/10 the talent and no punches chance, only a coward got to get ready for this after he already went through fight camp.

This is not UFC 1.There’s no more “wrestlers” or “strikers” anymore they are all MMA fighters.And if you actually knew anything about Dan Henderson or Chael Sonnen you would know they are really different fighters.One guy throws bombs and does 90% of his takedowns from the clinch and you have a guy who throws almost only double legs,has a totally different aproach to the ground game and who’s also 10 pounds bigger.

Something in his body language seems really off. He said that he was not worried about Chael, and then go onto say that they wear 4 ounce gloves and anything can happen etc. etc.. sooooo he IS worried of the uncertainty of fight-sports ?

Cannot help tbut to think he’s a hypocrite… Pity, really wanted to like him and be his fan but he’s making it harder and harder !

Dana should have sweetened the deal and offered more money that cheap bastard!!

Giving football players who make hundreds of thousands to millions the fight for free in their hotel rooms while everyone else has to pay full price for the ppv. Yeah that sounds about right.

You can’t pay for better comedy than a fan on the internet calling an undefeated champion fighter a bitch. That’s just great.

@eizmed – I think he’s just saying that he’s the type of fighter who gets a lot of his confidence and tactics from training for a specific fighter’s style. I really doubt he thinks Chael has knockout power in his fists.

The 4oz gloves comment was an analogy to say “No, I wasn’t concerned about it being Chael in particular, but this is a sport where in the blink of an eye anything can happen.”

I really don’t think he was insinuating he was afraid of Chael, least of all Chael’s hands!

Judging from the temperaments of most of the posters here, I’d bet a year’s salary that 95%-100% of them would come off worse than Jon does if they were a fighting champion in the public eye and considered one of the best alive. At 23 years of age.
