If Silva and Jones defend their titles they have to fight. Anything else would be criminal. I’m hoping Chael pulls it out though. War Sonnen!

Why do people keep thinking Silva-Jones would be competitive? Jones would trounce him. I’ll admit on the feet it would be somewhat competitive on the feet but that’s only because of Silva’s amazing striking, but that being said he would still be the underdog standing due to size, strength, reach, and being almost as skilled. But that’s only on the feet, anywhere else Silva would literally be dominated. He has probably some of the worst wrestling out of all the elite fighters whereas Jones has some of the best out of them. Jones would likely be smart and just take him down (extremely easily), and pound him out with elbows, probably finishing him in round 1 without even giving the fans a chance to see a nice competitive kickboxing match. This is reality.

first of all, silva not fighting GSP was criminal. GSP finding a p**** ass bullshit way to not fight Nick Diaz was bullshit. Second of all….don’t be surprised if the UFC never makes the Silva vs Jones fight happen. They have become a business.Opposite of Pride.The fights you want to see most never happen. Which is total bullshit. Grow a sack Dana. Tell these guys either fight who I tell you to or you’re f****** fired. You’re a professional fighter. At least it’s not as bad as it was in UFC 1 when there was no rules or weight classes. If you decide to be a fighter for a living….for gods sake, have some balls.

No they dont have to fight at all, they fight at different fights.
Superfights dont often happen, Silva doesnt want to lose and i doubt Bones wants to fight Silva.
People who say Silva would be dominated are foolish.
Silva walks around @ 215 Bones @ 235.
If i was Anderson and had cemeted a legacy as one of the all tiem greats would i risk it byt fighting someone younger, bigger and stronger NO….No i wouldnt…

Same here, I’d like to see Sonnen land the upset. Would really put a twist into the division. It’d probably force and automatic rematch though. UFC and too many rematches….damn you Frankie Edgar. Go away.

AS has the worst wrestling?? aha so how he defeated hendo so easily when hendo just could take him down??…you base that on one fight where sonnen used peds and anderson was injured lol…Jones would lose against AS in a standup battle…but I admit that in a clinch or on the ground it could be difficult because JJ is so strong…but first you need to get anderson pinned down…thats not a very easy task…

listen since the beginning i have heard you all tell me how many different ways Silva would lose through the years. I want you all to know that I am happy you have finally accepted these brothas as champs. BUT why havent you learned that Silva is a pro. Why cant you learn he beats all your favorites? Yes he has the worst wrestling out of all the elite fighters. He defeated Hendo by almost knocking him the f out and instead finished him on the ground (didn’t do it by using his wrestling). In the first round where there was wrestling involved he lost, just like the 4 rounds with Sonnen. Don’t get me wrong, Silva is awesome (standing, bjj), but he no wrestling stud, even lutter got him down. Rashad has a better chance of beating Jones than does Silva. Wrestling is a key factor in these matchups.
