I’ll tell you why. Because his body language never lines-up with what comes out of his mouth. As people, we pick up on these things subconsciously even if we don’t consciously–hence, the dislike.

I know why I dont like this guy. He does not have a traditional martial arts background and never has been in a dojo so he does not get the essence of martial arts. He has just been wrestling and at the greg jackson camp which just focuses on the win and not how you win. He says he is a serious Christian but is so stuck on being the best he is not afraid to damage and show lack of respect his opponet to get the mental edge. Plus he did not even get a college degree but tries to act like a genius by repeating what Greg Jackson and his other coaches tell him. All the big names he beat were beaten in the ufc before he beat them. Even though he is on a winning streak, I consider fedor the greatest mma fighter of all time not this Douche bag.

I appreciate that he tries not to be a douche, but his body language and some of his actions sometimes come through.
I don’t blame him too much though, he’s managed to become one of the best fighters in the world at such and early age. I’d like to see him humbled, but I respect his talents and it’s nice to see someone who can actually hold the LHW strap for a while.

@ShaikanI agree he is successful at a young age. I agree that MOST people will never be that successful in MMA. But I think he is a douche. Call it “hating” if you want to, but there are some serious holes in his personality because he did reach success so fast and at a young age. I know no one is perfect and that his courage to be exellent should be applauded, but I disagree when people say he is the greatest ever. Fedor was humble, respected other fighters, beat others at their peak, was loyal to his teamates despite if it was lucrative or not, and never criticized other fighters performances eveb after a loss. Head says Jones. Heart says Evans. Dick says arianny.

I’m lol at all the people that said theres something about him they HATE but they don’t know what it is. It usually happens to winners or when you’re on top. You get HATERS. All it means he is doing something right. I do notice he is more cocky now.
