its not surprising that the fans turned on him so quickly, too young, too dominant, and achieved too quickly. He seems to have avoided the trial by fire that previous champions had to overcome. I must admit when he destroyed Shogun I tried to find an excuse to hate him, mostly citing his arrogance, but hes won me around, hes an young guy who is actually realistic about his abilities, smart, articulate and generally a good role model. Its not his fault that no one in his division can provide him with the war that will endear him to the public. WAR JONES

I don’t know why people hate on Jones or any fighter they are just doing their job.
Anderson Silva vs Jones only fight that makes sense in 2013 to challenge Jones.
If more fans call for it it will happen.

At some point, even if you don’t like the guy, you’ve gotta respect his dominance.
If Cormier can make 205 MAYBE, he gives him a tougher than usual fight..but I can’t see anyone else at 205 beating him.

I don’t doubt Jones ability but I highly doubt he’s that great of a role model.Faking to be somebody else then you is not a good example.i hate arrogant fighters but I prefer Mayweather type of arrogance to Jones’.At least Mayweather doesn’t fake being humble.He’s all out cocky because that who he is.He’s not a phony or a fake.

Also Cormier and Mousasi have both really slim chances to beat Jones IMO.Mousasi is a small 205 and Cormier doesn’t have the experience yet.He looked great against lower levels guys but I doubt he would’ve looked that good against Shogun,Evans,Belfort,Machida or Rampage.And Cormier hasn’t cut weight in a long time because he had kidney problems because of weight cutting.So he might not even make 205 or if he does he won’t be 100%

Meh. I’ll go ahead and be the one to go against most of you. I can’t stand his face and I can’t wait for the day he loses. I feel the only reason he wins is because he’s just to damn big. The size difference with most of his opponents is insane. The minute he goes to heavyweight he’ll lose. His size will no longer be a factor, his boxing sucks, take downs will no longer be as easy with a big ass behemoths, he’ll be hit in the face much harder and you have crazy olympian wrestlers like Cormier, Cain, JDS coming after him.
