Sorry Jon you are fighting for the wrong company if you want to support the integrity of MMA. Need to go open a dojo and teach theory and logic which is great. But UFC is already going the way of pro wrestling. JMO

He’s confused. He says that he doesn’t care to perform, but then says that he’s really frustrated for not getting the finishes. It’s pretty simple…
In the UFC, if the fans don’t want to watch you fight, it’s a hell of a lot harder to get the shot. How many people outside of Canada do you think would pay to watch, or to attend GSp v. Fitch?

Fitch is a boring ass fighter, just like GSP and all the other MFs who just want to win wrestling wars and grind out wins. The fans, who are the people who pay your salaries, want to see fighters that fight and freaking KOs!! Start striking, start fighting, and you’ll get more fights and better press.

This guy used to be called a Beast, now he’s considered boring by everyone. In fact, I used to love watching him fight, but he’s not aggressive as he used to be. He doesn’t have to finish fights to be considered exciting, he needs to be more aggressive and punish his opponents with his GNP. Guys like Tito and Sonnen are good examples of how exciting GnP can be.

I can NOT sit through another Jon Fitch decision. I am rooting for Hendricks all the way but will be happy if either fighter finishes the fight in the 1st round.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the UFC releases Fitch if he loses.

If you only fight to win on points that’s fine, but don’t expect to be a fan favorite.
GSP fights with a more entertaining grind and even he receives constant criticism.

dude has it figured out. the integrity of the sport needs to be displayed publicly. if it’s going to mainstream it must have aspects which ALL audiences can enjoy. some of us love to see a long, drawn out competition between two athletes. hendo vs shogun for example. that fight was a triumph of the human spirit. dude has been one of the best for a LONG time, and it’s not for no reason.
