Bellator Fighting Championships 51 MMA fight videos of Joe Warren Vs. Alexis Vila. The bout took place on 09/24/2011.


The fight was the main event of Bellator 51, which took place at Ohio’s Canton Memorial Civic Center as part of the MTV2-televised main card.

Warren, Bellator’s current featherweight champion, and Vila, the 1996 Olympic freestyle-wrestling bronze medalist.

Beautifully done by Vila! I think the ref. caused more damage to him than Joe Warren.
Also: “The self-proclaimed maddest man on Earth” needed a humility lesson. He thought he wouldn’t have a lot of problems with the power of the fighters at 135… Rude awakening.

@sticky: That’s why I love Bellator. Everybody starts as equals and have the same opportunity to get the belt. That motivates the fighters like nothing else. There is almost never a fighter trying to just win by points. It’s always do or die.

Bellator needs to work on Camera angles. The big initial shot that rocked him was out of the frame because of the late camera work as well as the head snapping back off the canvass after being Kod. I get a hard on watching ppl get knocked out this hard so at least show me the goods!

HOLY CRAP! Vila came up in weight from 125Lbs to fight in this tournament and KTFO’d Warren who came down in weight. Vila has some serious power in those hands. very accurate with his punches too! I don’t see anyone in this tournament beating him.
