Joe Daddy is not that great. The guillotine is the easiest choke to do. Anyone who fights him knows that’s all his BJJ can ascertain. Hes like Koshchek, good atheletes, jus need to work harder on all the bases. Tibau had his ass for a second, too.~

Joe is a decent fighter that has a few flaws…that being the right hand of BJ Penn. Minus that and he could have a great shot at being a champion…

Tibau should have ended this fight in the 1st, but Stevenson is pretty tough. And I wouldn’t say he isn’t that great, ReDiCuLouS. He’s not the best, but he is one of the better 155 lb’ers.

Joe daddy is tight, and tibau also probably weighed 10 pounds heavier than him when they actually stepped in the ring. He should have game planned to defend stevensons choke because that is his strongest submission. Aside from Couture, stevenson probably has the best grip in MMA. And its never shameful to admit that the best pound for pound guy in Penn dominated him. He will only get better since he is 25. Aside from griffin and penn hes the best 155er out there

Everyone can do a guillotine, but it takes a very stong person to submit a fighter via guillotine if they have one arm in.

“ReDiCuLouS” – Anyone who’s ever trained and competed in a martial art knows that sometimes, knowing how to do one or two moves extremely well can be as good as a passing knowledge of multiple moves. If the guillotine is such an easy choke, why couldn’t Tibau stop it?

Joe hits almost everyone he fights with that at some point or another (see the Guillard fight – one of the fastest submissions I’ve seen), and it works well for him. If Tibau had trained to defend against that harder, knowing it was one of Joe’s stronger and most commonly used moves, he might have survived. As it is, Stevenson ended his night.
