I cant see any of the gif images, there is always some advertisement placed OVER the images. Its ONLY on this site though. I wish there was a way of turning that off or putting the overlay elsewhere.

Bruno: I have never had anyone say that before. what browser are you using? I have tested with IE,Firefox,Apple Safari, Google Chrome, and Opera and never had that happen.

It’s not illegal if fighters are standing face to face. If Bonnar didn’t duck into him, would have been side of head.

devastating elbow Jon Jones looks dangerous but Bonner was too slow for him. I think Jones will go far, but if I remember correctly his cardio wasn’t at that level for three rounds. I think he gassed in the last round. Which I thought Bonner should of went for it. Still….. great elbow

Bruno: Not enough for the time I put into it. I make more than double the amount of money with a money help site with about 800 page views per day. MMATKO gets on average, between 3 and 4 million page views per month.
If you want to make alot of money with a site MMA is not the way to go. I just love MMA and do this site more for the fun of it.

The blow was legal whether it landing in the back of the head or not …. the blow is legal as long as you were facing your opponent at the time you threw the strike. Its the same as throwing a punch and it landing behind the ear … great move by Jones who’s legit and could be the man at 205 in 2 years.

the hit was illegal but referees will never call a strike like this. the foul is “Striking to the spine or the back of the head.” doesn’t matter if it’s unintentional, the referee can issue a warning, take a point away, or even disqualify the fighter.

The blow clearly landed to the back of the head, unintentional though. Probably warranted just a warning. As for the comment on it being a legal blow since the fighters were face to face, it does not apply in this case because when jone’s spun he was side to side with bonner and when the elbow was thrown it was only going to land at the back of the head. Unless he’s double jointed or have some gumby type arms.

a lot of people are saying the ref cant take a point away ect. for a hit to the back of the head if its unitentional.
but what about lesnar vs Mir #1
the ref stood them up. gave mir time to rest. and took a point away from lesnar.
brock did hit frank in the back of the head but only once on the groud and mir did turn into it.
