Just saw this article but I’ve known the story for years. Seagal LET Lebell put him in a hold. He was trying to prove he could get out of it. He could not. Doesn’t make Seagal a fake. It makes him human. He has also admits this happened and that he learned the choke afterwards. It was not a fight by any stretch of the imagination. It was an ego check.
By the way, upon first meeting Bruce Lee on the set of the Green Hornet, Lebell walked up to Lee, grabbed him, threw him over his shoulder and proceeded to run around the set with him. Lee was screaming like a child for Lebell to “let me down or I’ll kill you!” but Lebell just laughed and kept running. Eventually Lee realized Lebell was joking and they became friends. As a result of Lee’s complete inability to respond while being wrapped like a child above Lebells head, Lee asked Lebell to teach him Judo.
So if Seagal who let Lebell put him in a hold is a fake… Then Lee, who did not wish to be in a hold, and was run around like a little girl above Lebells head while screaming, is surely a fake.
Those who’ve known both, including Lebell have said that neither is a fake.

joe rogan … is just gessing we dont no and he dont no ? why cant you just beleave some one lyoto machida and anderson silva gave him his credit after the fight why would they lie ? it doesnt matter how much english they no or how nice they are … people always douting someone before actually noing the truth… wat is wrong with the world?

You can catch Le Bell in a whole lot of Green Hornet and Kato scenes. He was alwys playing one of the thugs Kato had to fight. Bruce was taught a few Judo moves by Le Bell

Well my friend, Joe Rogan is a black belt in TKD and competed at the national level when he was younger. He also happens to be a BJJ brown belt from Jean Jacques Machado. So yes, it is probably your hate and/or jealousy towards him that is clouding your judgement.

brown belt in 10th Planet JJ
brown belt in BJJ
green belt in Judo

joes been with the UFC since 1997
thats 14 years of working with the largest and most successful mma organizations in the world

i think joe has enuff credibility
to comment on mr. steven seagal
