Lauzon is always exciting and you just can’t make a mistake against him.
Can they give him a new name? The guy has nothing less than 7 wins in less than a minute and other 5 wins in less than 2 minutes of the first round.
I think something classic like “The Storm” would fit him well. After all, only those who weather the storm can beat this kid. He only has 1 loss in the first round and it was almost at the very end.

Sad really. Melvin is always amped before a fight but this time he seemed scared. Melvin nvr performs well against BJJ thats his achilles heel. Greg Jackson should work really hard on BJJ def.

Coming in with you hands down is never a good idea regardless of how fast and explosive you are, Dude called himself the “Jitsu killer”. Didn’t believe in Lauzon’s ability to take him down, and didn’t know that Lauzon has some serious hands.

Guillard is a one sided fighter and big talker. Lauzon is a terrific underrated fighter. Thanks for posting this Bruno i couldn’t find it anywhere else but here.

hahaha . As i have said before, Melvin is very hittable and I had lauzon winning it in the 1st by sub or tko. Whats funny is guillards speed and explosiveness worked against him. He ran so quickly into a weak punch and thats what made the punch strong. Melvin has been dropped by jabs from two grapplers now hhahaha.

Melvin underestimated Joe’s stand up that’s how he got caught. His IQ is not very high, he gots hit and tries to take the fight to the ground where his opponent is strongest and he is weakest.

Melvin went into this too cocky early on. He thought it was going to be ‘stand and bang’. He totally under estimated Joe. He made a mistake and Joe swarmed on him. Brilliant stuff

Man, sometimes Lauzon has flashes of utter brilliance. He seems to be able to take advantage of the explosive and aggressive strikers. Beautiful counter, great killer instinct.

That left had not power behind it. Barely hit Guillard and then Guillard slipped. Joe took advantage of the slip, which he should, but Guillard was definitely not hurt by any means. Either way, great job Joe!

Strange how when Chael shoots off his mouth he is applauded by fans. Those same fans criticize Melvin for doing the same. Chael is the pound for pound king for shooting off his big mouth. Melvin is just a runner-up. Idk if it was fixed but I really thought the Lesnar Carwin fight was. When Shane winked then got chocked out it reminded me of WW-E or F.
